  We like to go to the Pillar-n-Post at least once a year from the USA. It has become our destination for our wedding anniversary celebration (this year makes 42 yrs.). It is very restful, serene,clean rooms and everything is nearby for shopping or eating or wine tasting!   The facilities were very clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was sad the whirlpool was out of order. The facility was close to amenities.   Had a wonderful experience. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Jacuzzi tub was amazing and the firplace for a cold winter night. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was large and very comfortable and a nice surprise. Loved the bed, pillow and duvet. I am a light sleeper and don't usually sleep well. No outside noise at all and slept l - We really enjoyed our weekend at the Stone Gate Inn. Our suite was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and the numerous choices. My granddaughter loved, loved the pool. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant, courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend this hotel to others visiting Orillia. Diane, Gatineau, Quebec

  The location was good and overall the hotel was very nice. Downside is there is a fee to use internet in the room and valet parking is expensive but you can self park for less. Bed was comfortable and we had a good dinner in the dining room.   The owner was helpful, and very accommodating. He even picked us up at the Coach bus depot. The beds were comfortable, the room was quite spacious, and the hotel was in a very quiet area.
