I stayed on the 9th floor, a club floor, and I had asked for a "clean clean room", please! We stayed for a week in October, except for the rainy days everything else was close to perfect. Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive. Great location, quiet and cosy, free internet in the library, wonderfuly decorated. Tip: when at L'Hermitage, always listen to ... what people say » Raymond's (the concierge) gourmet recommendations. - the hotel was spotless. they seem to have given thought to every detail - design-wise, service-wise, taste and efficiency. the complimentary breakfast and hor douves are wonderful, not to mention the chocolates we got every afternoon. we have stayed in several hotels in the region - this is by far in a different league all together. we hope they manage to retain the high standards over time.

Arrived at the hotel after a 13 + hour flight from New Zealand. Was
given a friendly welcome upon arrival. We had the free wifi & keys
explained to us. Had a single room suite (room 908), room was nice and
tidy, beds firm and comfy, nice view. Fully equipped kitchen, which is
helpful if you are on a budget. On the tv there is a channel where you
can watch the laundry room live, which was odd at first, but made sense
that there would be security to keep an eye on your washing. There is a

The family who run the bed and breakfast are wonderful and very inviting. The accommodations are incredibly clean, modern and charming especially for the price. This was a great place to stay with kids. It is basically having your own apartment at the hill. My recommendation if you are going with young kids is to use the daycare/school services instead of the ski school. they have a program called Ski and Play - where your child is occupied from 9 am to 4 pm each day. They provide rentals and lift passes ... what people say » in their price and the kids end up skiing one hour at a time - 4 times in a day - so 4 hours of ski instruction (one instructor per 3 kids I believe) -
Well informed, friendly and professional staff! We arrived several hours later than expected due to highway traffic and accidents and they made the process so smooth and stress free.
I loved the Fernie Alpine Village which was just a two minute walk from Snow Creek Lodge. The Timberline chairlift ride up to hike the mountain was awesome as well! Great for downhill bikers too :)
The pool and hot tubs were great and the access to the BBQs on the deck were a bonus as well!
