The wonderfully groomed landscape and gardens are a very special part of why we choose to return, as is the ocean vistas.   Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this Lodge is beautifully appointed. One feels both close to nature, while also having luxurious accommodations. The freshly baked cookies, the coffee/tea, the fruit readily available gave the lodge feel very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean, I - The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach. Relaxing in the large, supremely comfortable lounge looking out on the beautiful scene ( as the rain poured down!) with endless supplies of coffee or tea was a real treat and a memorable one. Freshly baked cookies in the evening were a nice touch too. The breakfasts were very good and free wi- fi was welcome.   We loved the location and serene atmosphere of this hotel. Particularly liked the hot tub, tennis courts, taxi to the other side.also we had a beautiful gourmet meal in the restaurant our steak was cooked to perfection and the staff were very attentive. Great stay thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel.even accommodated us with a kettle import... what people say » ant for early morning tea. - The thing that impressed me the most was how well the front desk people handled a rather difficult customer, as I waited to be served. All other staff that I encountered were very accommodating and helpful. The facilities and setting were also impressive. Thanks for a great stay. I hope to revisit with my wife. - The seaside setting is lovely, and Painter's has activity packages which take full advantage of the natural resources which surround it. Taking the shuttle over to April Point on Quadra Island is a fun option - and yes, cruise-ships, tugs with their barges, fishing boats and pleasure craft all add to the charm.

  My girlfriend and I have been to the Nita Lake Lodge twice this year, once in the winter and once in the summer and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay! One thing we didn't get a chance to take advantage of on this last trip was the complimentary bike, canoe, or kayak rentals available. But I thought that was a really nice touch and would enjoy th... what people say » e opportunity to use them in our future trips to Nita Lake Lodge. - The staff were so good, and so helpful. The shuttle bus service they offered was amazing and so useful. Thanks so much for that. The room was brilliant, really high quality finish. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It was my girlfriends birthday and they left a card and a treat in the room which was a nice touch.

  We had asked for a ground floor room which was not available but as the hotel had an elevator that wasn't a problem. Nevertheless the hotel upgraded our room for us which was finished to a very high standard. It had high ceilings and a kitchen area and very modern bathroom. Sorry we were only staying one night. - The room itself was nice - e... what people say » verything looked new and was in good condition - it was comfortable and had a full kitchen. The facilities are pretty good too - wifi, a pool, hot tub and fitness center.

  We loved the design of the lodges, food in the restaurant was superb, grounds are beautiful and composed into an amazing scenery. There is a lake behind the lodges and the entire area is picture perfect. In summer the prices are a phenomenal deal for the quality. When we checked out staff gave us some info on the rest of itinerary that we used and we really found the recommendations extremely valuable. - The cabins are lovely and very well furnished. There is a restaurant just over the road, which was good, with extremely nice staff. The reception staff were also very helpful. The location, in Blue River, is useful if you wish to go on the River Safari to bear watch, the reason I chose to stay in this location. There is a lake nearby, where you can swim, which we also did and thoroughly enjoyed. To be recommended!

  Location was beautiful. Accommodations were rustic (we stayed in a cabin) but very pleasant and nicely furnished. Restaurant was great. - They were very kind and offered us a larger room because it was off season. It was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly.

  The motel was a few steps from the beach. The receptionist was personable. The room was very basic but had everything we wanted or needed--including a full kitchen. - room was adequate - not fancy but comfortable and nice location. Pool was a pleasant surprise - large. I would go again.

  Adult hour at the pool between 10-11 PM. Liked that there were 5 different pools to pick from. As soon as we checked in and parked the car we were instantly in vacation mode...Harrison Hot Springs hotel did that. The staff were super helpful and happy. Enjoyed the coffee they provided. - I liked how the staff are very friendly even when it got really busy. The staff were very helpful with answering questions and making us feel welcomed. The pool area and hot tub were clean and the layout is nice. The options for the buffet exceeded my expectations, there were options for everyone even the picky eaters. I very much liked how they served turkey sausages. The view from the patio in the buffet is spectacular.
