  I loved the beautiful location. It is so tranquil. The bath tub is so easy and safe to get out of, which is really saying something for a senior. Seafood dishes were excellent!! - Was there for my brothers wedding. Service was excellent, beautiful setting. Wonderful staff, good food.

  I like the location and facilities of the resort. The personal are very warm and friendly. I love the view and the pool.The rooms are clean and nice. The resort is located just by the lake and it has a very nice restaurant that has delicious foods with a reasonable price. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas complete with visit from Santa. The suite was warm, clean and nicely furnished.   Being situated right at the Lake it almost felt like an all "inclusive Resort in Mexico" especially due to the perfect hot weather and having several Restaurants to choose from. There was no need for my husband and me to leave the Resort, especially since we only spend 2 nights.   Excellent value for the 3 days we were there. Rooms are great, comfortable, but not too fancy... Similar in feel to a European hotel. Good, friendly staff. The ski storage room had a bench to wax the skis.... A nice addition. Although the hot tub area was small and indoors, it was well done, with towels, showers and toilet facilities. We didn't us... what people say » e the sauna or steam room, but they looked clean and well maintained. - Sun Peaks, as a place, feels like a piece of Europe dropped into BC's Southern Interior - it was a breath of fresh air to walk the streets. The hotel was also a great deal, with excellent, helpful staff who went above and beyond, and our room was well appointed.

  The location is wonderful. We very much liked our one bedroom cabin; it had everything we needed and more. There is a little store right at the motel which is convenient.   Beautiful setting - our room had a deck with a wonderful view. Nice furnishings, wonderful fireplace - very comfortable and secluded! The food at the lodge was very good - all service was outstanding - porters, shuttle, wait staff - all very friendly & accommodating. Whatever we requested, we got! The Lodge sits right on the lake nestled in the mountai - Emerald Lake Lodge is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. My husband and I went there to celebrate our 10th anniversary and it was absolutely stunning and it looks exactly how the pictures show it does. I booked 4 rooms for our group and all were very pleased with the accommodations and location. 5 others joined us for dinner where we enjoyed our dinners.   Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this Lodge is beautifully appointed. One feels both close to nature, while also having luxurious accommodations. The freshly baked cookies, the coffee/tea, the fruit readily available gave the lodge feel very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean, I - The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach. Particularly liked the hot tub, tennis courts, taxi to the other side.also we had a beautiful gourmet meal in the restaurant our steak was cooked to perfection and the staff were very attentive. All other staff that I encountered were very accommodating and helpful. The facilities and setting were also impressive. Thanks for a great stay. I hope to revisit with my wife. - The seaside setting is lovely, and Painter's has activity packages which take full advantage of the natural resources which surround it. Taking the shuttle over to April Point on Quadra Island is a fun option - and yes, cruise-ships, tugs with their barges, fishing boats and pleasure craft all add to the charm.
