  Beautiful location on the ski hill. Would be perfect for skiing as the gondola is right out your back door. We were there in the summer and amenities were a bit scaled back. Great rooms and hotel staff was great. We were given a free upgraded room. - The decor was lovely. Complimentary coffee/tea is always good. Free underground parking.   We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, everything was fresh and some of the ingredients came from chef's garden it was one of the best meals we had ... what people say » during our trip. Golden is a great location as it is close to Banff NP, and other national parks. We also stopped off at Field, a small mining town o - CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. Did not want to leave

  It was a great place to rest during our long journey. And we loved it the food was really good. And the staff outstanding and was very klnd and helpful. - Neat buildings and facilities. Beautiful setting, and very helpful staff.

  Small hotel in the forest with lots of chalets, extremely comfortable beds, large rooms. Breakfast in the morning was very good and included complimentary. Price was very affordable. - Loved the location and the set up. Both Marianne and Rainer did a great job setting up the place.
