  We arrived fairly late and had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub downstairs. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Beds very comfortable and quiet during the night. We had been concerned about city noise but was very peaceful! Restaurant for breakfast was wonderful. Great food, service, price and decor Was just a night stay, but woul... what people say » d definitely stay there again and have recommended the restaurant to my family fwho live in Victoria. - I really liked how they stored my suitcase before check in so I could do my work and same thing after I checked out. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.

  We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience.   great location would come back and perhaps camp or stay again in cabins, kayak....convenient as we were booked to do the Princess Louisa at 9:15 in morning....also liked having option to go the Wilderness Lodge to eat. Marina pub had very good salad crab cakes and calamari that we had outside at tables over looking marina due to having a minor in ... what people say » our group...very helpful staff, thank you. - the views and the relaxed atmosphere. the staff were friendly,helpfull and nothing was too much trouble.meals in pub were value for money
