  Everything is good! The staff is perfect, very kind and very helpful. The hotel is super great, very clean, the rooms are super spacious and beautiful, and we booked for a simple standard room, and when we arrived, we were upgraded to Queen Room ! When we got there they gave us the key of an old one and it was awfull. No fridge, old tv'S... So we asked for an upgrade. Then the room was much nicer, but we had to pay extra money fot that. It looks like 2 different hotels, you have to ask for the new part.

  I liked the staff at the front desk. They were very polite and very helpful. I liked the big bottles of shampoo, bath gel and lotion. There were 3 of us in the room and we didn't have to worry about running out.   We've stayed with 2 little children. The room was pretty big for all of us. Stuff was friendly and answered my requests. I checked out at 11:00 and asked to keep our 5 big bags in the locker for a couple more hours. They allowed me to do it and actually I came back some 12 hours later to take it. Always friendly we walked out of our room and we had two different people at different times say good morning it was awesome to feel that important, I even left my bracelet there and they were able to give it back!

  I thought it was a beautiful modern resort. The on site pool and hot tubs were really nice. The units were a bit small but did meet our needs for the short time we stayed. The kitchen could use a good frypan as well as a potatoe masher however we managed.The resort is in a great location and is just a minutes from Banff..   The rooms where bright, clean, & very quite. The bed/pullout sofa were very comfortable. I booked a suite with pull out sofa & 1 queen bed. I liked the efficienty kitchen & that fact that the bedroom was separate from the main area. The breakfast was fantastic - large selection of hot & cold items. The free shuttle was an added bonus - - Five of us stayed in a two-bedroomed suite, overnighting between landing at the airport and picking up a motorhome. This was the best hotel experience of our Canadian holiday; not the swankiest, not the best located, not the most elegant, but by far the most hospitable. Early check-in? No problem. We had a couple of small issues with Internet and people smoking outside right by the entrance but both were resolved immediately. Staff were incredibly friendly.   We have stayed at best western on the last two trips to Canada, staying 14 days each trip. I have an elderly relative living in Canada so it makes it very easy to be picked up on our days out. It is also ideal for accessing the c train where we have traveled the length and breadth of Calgary linking up with the bus services.
