The location is wonderful. We very much liked our one bedroom cabin; it had everything we needed and more. There is a little store right at the motel which is convenient. The price was very reasonable and we would stay again. first off it was clean and the pool was well maintained. there was always staff at the pool and front desk. cottages are all updated and very clean, all staff I spoke with were smilling and friendly.
all reviews » the rooms were very clean and comfortable. staff was very helpful when suggesting a place to eat, and provided us with extra coffee for room. Liked that it was easy to get to. The cabins were nice new and big and the kitchens had everything we needed to make dinner. Easy to find, suited our needs. Glad to have the swimming pool. Glad to have a room near our friends. Easy to book. It was nice & quiet despite the high number of children. Very friendly staff & visitors. Clean and comfortable accommodation for a good price. Kids love the pool area and slide!. I liked the fact that we could have our pets and that the accomodations were very clean. The resort is very park like and the cottages make it easy for kids to really have fun. We were very satisfied with it. Didn't like that it was right on the highway and not the beach as mentioned in the ad. Ran out of hot water -- seemed to be a mechanical problem. The resort was a little far from the beach. If anything, the slide should be included in the price for those staying at the resort, not an extra charge. I didn't like the futon couch in the sitting area - very uncomfortable. A place to put clean clothes in the bathroom would be nice (like a hook on the backside of the door). Fixtures were old, playground was old. Walls were thin and could hear everything from the other room. Local taxi service. confusing roads. Dark room, broken rather dirty insect screens. Clearly not fully operant as too early in season. Very uncomfortable couch. Nowhere to put anything in bathroom. dated,no bathroom fan ,i beleive there was no real riverside cabins,maybe two.close by. The reason for the stay was the main attraction of the water slide and pools which they did not have the pools ready. All empty. Many unhappy families because of this. We're not told at time of booking. Old and need of remodelling interior.
