The wifi is weak.... Others are good. Friendly staff, I was able to check in ahead of time. Checkout is 11 am, which is very nice. A liquor store is in walking distance, which gives you a chance of enjoying a stay the dark rooms with thin walls. The location was great, the beds were clean, and the staff tried to be very accommodating. The owners were great. Location, was easy to find, not alot of traffic, quiet. Beds were comfy.
all reviews » The owners were extremely helpful, personable and friendly. Location. StAFF. nothing. nothing. The price is relatively cheap compared to the other ridiculous prices in town (however, there is apparently a cheaper place near the university), but still too much for a simple clean but dark room with no meals. It said on this site that the rooms would come with cooking facilities and coffeemakers, yet at check in I found out that these would be 10$ per night extra. The walls and light fixtures were filthy. The bathroom flooded the second night we were there. The guests (although I think they were renters) above us, kept me up all night the second night. But one of the owners tried to be accommodating and even refunded us one night's stay. Price too high for a run-down old hotel. Walls were dirty, toilet was disgusting and stained. AC in a hard to reach place and dirty. The second night crack dealers set up shop in room next to mine, dozens of people in and out all night. One person was even begging for cash in parking lot. Fight in room on other side of me. Located in very run down area of town, lots of unwelcome activity. Room smelled of stale tobacco and mold. Way over priced for this type of motel. Stayed for four days the room was not cleaned. We had to go to the front desk daily to get coffee, hand soap, toiletpaper, clean towels ETC.. The beds are to short 2the key did not work in door 3 no face colths 4 to sum thing up it needs about 100000 in fix up or more . this should be for back packer. Water coming through the Bathroom floor. the photo on the website was misleading-suggested a more modern facility; the business was undergoing much needed repairs and renovations during our stay but since it was just a stop over the inconvenience was tolerated. Old dirty soap in shower, Some ones grey hairs in bed, Old nasty bathtub, small dingy room with an uneven floor. Paid for two nights up front, only stayed one. Not even an alarm clock radio. smelly, old and dirty, expensive for a dump.
