On a street facing the beach after a long line of aging over used crowded not cheap motels is the exceptional CG a converted mansion; six styled unique rooms, well appointed baths, a roomy light filled common room and large kitchen, a large balcony. The place is surprisingly quiet. Elsie Tonita runs the place she is funny informative and interested in her guests. I wish I had the schedule to stay longer.

Comfortable and clean rooms. The building is a beautiful and unique design, resembling a Mexican or Spanish villa. Manager Elise is a friendly and easy to talk to. She gave us lots of tips as to best places to eat and visit around Penticton. We had the Jacuzzi room. It was very nice and had a private balcony with a partial lake view. The B&B has a warm atmosphere and is comfortable. The breakfast was tasty with good variety. Great location for beach and concerts at SOEC. The room was beautifully decorated and quite spacious for a single room. Breakfast was awesome with lots of fresh fruit salad and home made muffins. The host was very friendly and happy to chat with us while we ate. The accommodation was first rate and luxurious. We had access to a mini fridge and the breakfast was first rate (more than continental). The owner was very friendly as were the other guests. Alisse was very hospitable, friendly and accommodating. She provided me with a wealth of information about living in Penticton and I felt very welcomed. Great breakfast. We had the Hideaway room which is separate from the main B&B. We liked having our own entrance. The shower is quite small in this room but was fine for a short stay. The hostess was very friendly and extremely personable. The location was a stones throw from the beach and the establishment even lent us beach towels. The hospitality, friendliness, pet friendly, helpfulness of the proprietor/owners. May be time for a new mattress?. The king size bed was nice but should have had a box spring under the mattress, my back was sore after the first night. It definitely isn't a suite as the description on your website indicated. This is very close to the beach and in the summer the area could get very busy, but this may also be what you want. The only thing I missed in my room was a tub but the shower was fine and tons of very hot water. There really wasn't anything I would want to complain about. Shared balcony/patio. A few too many stairs for me, but I managed. Could have been another waste basket in the room. Room should be tidied each day, ex, garbages emptied to say the least, if you stay more than one day. Nothing!. No coffee machine in the room. Larger fridge in room would have been nice. No daily maid service. Toilet and shower are cubical in the room - ensure you are close to the person you are staying with as the shower door is stained glass. Really tight parking area. Not an issue if you have a small or medium sized vehicle. The refrigerator in the closet area is a little noisy but less loud if you keep the door closed. noisy wedding party. bed was too soft. Nothing everything was fine. Nothing. The hostess lacked in spirit. Although she was kind she seemed sad and depressed. Extremely west facing HOT room...city lights and road noise at night....loud air conditioner above the bed. Room was a bit cramped. Only one tiny window.
