  We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. It's well situated in Old Montreal (you'll need their valet parking which is... what people say » reasonably priced) and is right in the middle of some lovely galleries, shops and restaurants. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

  Central location. Friendly staff. Exceptional breakfast. - Hotel was very nice. Very friendly and courteous staff who were very helpful to us. The view from the room was not the greatest, however, the location of the hotel was very central to downtown Montreal, and within walking distance to attractions and restaurants.

  The room was just the right size. The free internet was a bonus add breakfast and it was unbelievable for the prize. - For the price i didn't expect much, yet the rooms where spacious and the facilities where good and clean.   Love the location. The fact that is so quiet and could get a good night sleep. Love the beds and pillows The Wi-Fi actually works! We love the staff, very welcoming, professional, helpful and friendly - The hotel is a Victorian house and so had the more personal touch, the service was excellent and the location was very central to shopping etc. There was air conditioning available so we could adjust the room temperature accordingly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was hot and easy to use.
