  I recently stayed here for 1 week while attending a conference. The hotel was an amazing place to stay that is within walking distance to shops, conference centre, metro and old Montreal. I have never come across such helpful, thoughtful and kind staff anywhere else in the world (I lost my passport) The room I had was modern and spotless, the bed ... what people say » was comfortable, air con worked a treat. There was a bit of street noise on Friday and Saturday night but my 3 colleagues who had other rooms said the - Main guy in reception was very knowledgeable about the city, where to go and what to do. Room was perfect for what we wanted, we only found out when we were checking out that we were put in a room they usually give to single travellers but it was more than ample for us.

We stayed at the Suite for 149 per night which we thought was worth the price because the room was very large and clean, with modern clean bathroom, and microwave and fridge kitchenette unit complete with dishes, utensils, wine glasses.   The Front desk attendee was exceptionally nice and accomodating. I was on the 31st floor and never had to wait for an elevator. Everything was clean. The location is excellent. This is one of my go-to hotels in Montreal. - The location was excellent, the facilities, the room, the view.

  There was one girl at reception who was very kind and helpful to us - were it not for her advice we would not have been able to get downtown and enjoy our weekend - Computer was near our room, the daily continental breakfast, fitness room.

  Great place to be while in Montreal. One of the best locations: very close to the Metro (2 stations to the old city...), to the Spectacles Quarter, to St. Denis and the restaurants. The room is very nice, with all the amenities needed and very clean..Parking is right across the street ($12 for 24 hours). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Short walk from the club district, and a 10min metro ride from the cities main attractions, including Central station. There are the occasional pan handler, etc, but you'll find these in any city, in subways, parks etc. If that sort of thing bothers you, you probably shouldn't leave your house. Its the diversity of life that makes life and adventure.

  The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming with all guests. The hotel was clean and rooms were tidy. The hotel is on a side street so there wasn't as much noise at night compared to a main road which was nice.   I loved the view of the St Joseph Oratory from my balcony -- the Oratory is a few minutes' walk away: beautiful place to visit! This hotel is close to the Metro (Côte-des-Neiges station), and a brilliant Vietnamese restaurant (Pho Lien). Hotel was very close to the metro (our form of transportation for the trip) and therefore we could go anywhere in the city really. LeGermainn was the first hotel I ever stayed at in Montreal (back in 2003) and I've not sta - The bed was incredibly comfortable. I opted for a bathtub and it was also comfortable with endless amounts of hot water. The toiletries are very good quality and replenished daily. I was there five nights and it was quiet every night. The coffee machine in the lobby is very good quality and I loved the hot chocolate. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly.
