Central location. Friendly staff. Exceptional breakfast. Hotel was very nice. Very friendly and courteous staff who were very helpful to us. The view from the room was not the greatest, however, the location of the hotel was very central to downtown Montreal, and within walking distance to attractions and restaurants.convenience of location, attention paid to property, i.e. style, furnishings, ambience, loved breakfast in that lovely room with gorgeous paintings and classical music. all reviews »
Its character, its size, and its location, in addition to the general pleasant atmosphere of the hotel itself.Perfect location, perfect breakfast, perfect atmosphere - somethingclassical not so formal. Excellent ambiance. Older building with character. Excellent location.Computer available for guests. Helpful and accommodating staff.We were not happy with the parking arrangements. For us, the valet cost was expensive, and so we used meter parking. We followed the sign on the parking meter machine, and even woke up early to add more money. There should be a package that includes parking if needed. A load of dirty room service dishes remained stashed on the floor under a chair outside my door for two days.Low rooms without sound protection from the floor above. A biggerroom was a smokers one, and for 3 people I had to decide for thebigger. No laundry. First night was in a very small room, with very noisy air conditioning,and freezing temp due to no control of air conditioning. Requested roomchange which was provided the next day.
