The closeness to the highway was very convenient and easy to find. I cannot speak or read French and, the staff were very helpful in translating the take out menus as I arrived late after dinner. The rooms were very clean. Hotel was very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was easy to find, just off highway 20. Breakfast was cold continental and more than adequate and was included with the room. We would stay there again.
all reviews » It is a good, just-off-the-highway stop en route from one place to another. It isn't an intentional destination. The pool was lovely and we couldn't have asked more from the staff. Staff went out of their way to serve breakfast at 6:00 a.m. rather than 7:00 a.m. We appreciated the bilingual receptionist. Staff very helpful and courteous. Just off highway so convenient. Nice atmosphere when entering hotel. Staff very friendly and co-operative. Room was nice size and comfortable bed. The location was fine - the staff was very helpful - language was not an issue at all - we would be happy to stay at Le Florimay again. Breakfast was normally served at 7am, but because they noticed we were packing up early, breakfast was made ready for us immediately. Unlike other online reservations made at Days Inn, we were not confined to the 2nd floor and were able to park in front of hotel. The hotel was as advertised which was nice to see. Our granddaughters loved the pool and it was nice to have a room poolside. Older Hotel but well maintained with a great atmosphere. Great stopping point for us between Ottawa and the Maritimes. The general atmosphere was great, the staff friendly and helpful. The bathtub was very nice. Friendliness of the staff. Proximity to a good restaurant (le couvee). Good breakfast. Close to highway, very clean, very friendly and accommodating. value for money, clean, brfst is good, love the birds. I liked the style , the location and the value. Convenient location off Trans Canada for use as stopover. This is a fairly large community so there are several restaurant choices. Bed was comfortable. the little girl at the desk was so nice her English is good sweet. Clean, nice lobby, good location near highway. Comment not required. Breakfast was basic toast and jams with coffee with some muffins and bananas. Not worth it in my opinion compared to other breakfasts we got along the way with our trip. A bit more choice at breakfast would be appreciated. Did not cater to people with food allergies and not much in the way of fruit for breakfast. The breakfast was disappointing - no bagles, fruit, yogurt, healthy bread or cereal. foot rails on beds are a hazard, husband fell over them 3 xs, stick out too much. have to turn off lights above bed at door entry. I missed having a workout room. Would have liked a FEW English Language magazines, and info. Had an unfortunate incident with our toilet which would not flush without filling the tank. Perhaps dry after lack of use in winter. (Room 1008). Pool was not open at time stated in hotel info book. Very small pillows. bilingual service was poor. Dirty, stained carpets in the room. Time to replace! Breakfast selection was not great. your beds are terrible. Thin towels. Poor breakfast selection.
