It was a joyous start to a road trip home to Nova Scotia. The owners were incredibly welcoming and informative - giving me easy directions for supper and other evening entertainment. There was a main room and a wood fire where I was welcome to sit and chat or read. My room, might have been tight for two, but for just me was perfect. Cosy, good bed with the right number of blankets for warming up after a long cold walk, TV if I needed it, wireless available to be able to communicate... and t.
all reviews » Greetings from our hosts Diane and Yvon were welcoming, warm and friendly, providing us with excellent information for restaurants and activities in the area. Location of the B&B was perfect for taking walks to restaurants, the lake, etc. Every room was immaculately clean with attention to detail throughout. The bed was extremely comfortable with impeccable bedding. Breakfast was simply amazing in a beautiful kitchen making us feel we were back in Provence, France! Food was very plentiful, . Personal welcome note (in english)in our room. No barriers communicating.(my concern not speaking french). Nicely decorated room and home. Very easy to find. Dining and shopping within easy walking distance. Yvon served us breakfast on the vinecovered patio which would rate 5 star in any gourmet restaurant. Diane's skill at preparing and plating such an amazing breakfast was a highlight of my vacation. The location is perfect for visiting the area. The Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is within walking distance and I spent a whole day watching birds, squirrels, ducks, herons, not to mention the coulourful sunset. The room was rather small, but well equipped and the hosts are the most lovely couple I met during my holiday in Québec. The B&B is charming with welcoming and friendly hosts. Just a block away are excellent restaurants and in the next block a marvelous walk by the lake. Beautiful spot to visit. Wonderful accommodations and fantastic breakfast served in a lovely space. The owners are warm and friendly. They helped us with information about activities close by. The breakfast is incredible: homemade, healthy and inventive. Consider it more as a brunch.
