Felt fortunate to find this hotel. Metro right across the street!! Also could catch a bus there.....FREE Parking! Was able to keep car in the parking lot for the day although we had already had checked out....that was great!! We found the room clean, no bedbugs......staff very helpful and friendly, dining room was very nice (staff again friendly)...economical, especially compared to downtown Montreal...again, the free parking.....I Have told my friends about my experience and the Botanical Gard.

The location is very convenient just by the metro station of Longueuil. Staff have been very helpfull in all aspect. High recommandation. Easy check in/out. Very close and easy drive to Montreal. The only thing I would strongly suggest is that a fan is put into the bathroom. Not a huge issue...but it makes sense for them and the customer humidity wise.Other than the mattresses being on the soft side comfort-wise, can't think of anything negative. Nothing. nothing. 1) I think a small fridge would be appropriate in a $120+tax room. I missed it. 2) It might sound stupid, but I didn't fancy the way their TV was hardwired to show all the channels over stretched? and you cannot change in the TV menu, because they installed some "anti-theft system".. 3) some rooms have smelly carpet, but see the point (3) of "what I did like" ;-). I have been staying at this Sandman few times already, but this time there was a low frequency mechanical noise, probably from a defective AC system in an unoccupied room above or below me; particularly noticeable overnight. Had to get earplugs to sleep through. Very noisy elevators. Would not accept my credit card because it was "not embossed". That's a security feature. Get with the times. Elevators are often turned off to save money (and the customers can just wait). Impossible to open windows in the room. Very noisy air conditioner Unreasonable pricing in the bar. The caplet too old.
