    It's a beautifully restored facility, furnished to resemble a Victorian residence. It's very romantic. The owner has furnished it with antiques and lovely carpets and drapes, the opposite of a chain hotel. On the other hand, the wifi and flat panel TVs are completely up to date. - It is a beautiful, small hotel, located in the Old City. The loc... what people say » ation couldn't be better. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, wonderfully-helpful staff, full breakfast. They were so accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

    What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!! Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!! There were renovations going on ... what people say » whilst we stayed there and some scaffolding over our window (inevitable in an old building which must be maintained) but they kindly gave us a complie - sheets on comforter so I feel clean in room--this is critically important recycling in room warm pool friendly check-in competent concierge gorgeous facility warm pool!!!! LOVED this! Would have stayed elsewhere if you had not had it. water and fruit at pool nice shampoos beautiful room

    The staff made our stay very pleasurable. They were very courteous, attended to our requests, always willing to give us information and assistance with directions, restaurants, etc. The location was the best--- right in the heart of the old city. We could walk to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - Reception staff personne... what people say » l were exceptionally welcoming, helpful and thorough. Our room, while small, was engineered more than it was designed: every practical convenience placed right where it would be needed. The bed frame and mattress gave comfort, support, and a refreshing night's rest.

    The staff were bilingual and it was easy to communicate in English, even though I wanted to practice my French. It was in a relatively good location just outside of the Old City and basically everything I wanted was within walking distance (did not take a cab or transit at all). The room prices were excellent for the amenities and the rooms seemed... what people say » like they had been recently updated...very nice! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower head was large and great for a hot shower aft - Beautifully appointed rooms and amenities. Wonderfully friendly bilingual staff. Across street, market specialising in local produce and products - we went in fall and all the fruits and vegetables were perfect. The local eateries were excellent. The Quebecois, like the French, KNOW how to eat, and they seemed always to ensure that when selling you any product, they gave you all the info you needed to ensure the best experience when eating or drinking it.
