  The bathroom has an excellent spa shower with 6 spray heads. The water pressure and temperature was very good. Also the bathroom was very clean. The comfortable bed gave us 2 good nights sleep. The hotel is very historical so there was no elevator. The restaurants breakfast and service was delicious. Would not - Location, location, location.... In the heart of Quebec. We stayed in the recently remodeled room 36 on the 3rd floor. Small, but cozy and quiet. Steps were no problem. A/C is quiet. We took their package deal for one day only. It included 2 breakfasts and dinners with a bottle of wine @ Restaurant 1640 downstairs and 1 day paid parking. What a great deal! Food is delicious and service is outstanding. Information center is next door. We definitely will stay there on our next trip.

I have never stayed in such a luxurious suite. I didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning. Merci bien!

  What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!! Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!!   A wonderful hotel tucked into a cobblestone street in Old Town! Giant rooms and hot tub big enough for two was a real plus on cold nights (and days)! I will stay here the next time I am in Quebec City. Great value, too. Free coffee is available at breakfast time, and there is a discount arrangement for breakfast in a nearby cafe. I found it an excellent base for a few days' stay.

My boyfriend and I got stranded in the snow a couple of miles from Quebec City. When we called the hotel, the concierge sent someone out to help us. He was so kind and patient.   We absolutely loved this place! The location can't be beat...one minute walk to all tourist sites but far enough off the main square to avoid being kept up at night with noise. The room was very cute..2 separate sleeping areas and a beautiful view of the neighboring park and St. Lawrence River. The room was immaculately clean as well.
