I can say that It is an authentic hotel fairmont network. The location (Lake Louise) is amazing. Very special place, a natural beauty unmatched. The room is prety good, with king superconfortavel bed. The hotel staff are super attentive, impeccable service. The food is very good, with great variety. Defintivamente will stay at this hotel again. Definitely is a six-star. The lake view is gorgeous. If you've already plan to spend big money to stay in this hotel, I suggest you spend extra 100 to get a room with lake view. It's totally worth it. And you will have free wi-fi access if you register as a fairmont member. Just fill out an application form in the front desk. simple and easy.

We would recommend this to anyone!. Spectacular natural scenary. The view from the hotel is just like the postcards. We were there in August and the early mornings around the lake were breathtaking. It was just a perfect weekend for me and my wife, the room, the dinner and the scenery was just spectacular. the service, the view of lake louise, the perfect combination of wilderness and luxury. View and staff attention to details. One particular front desk staff wasn't too friendly though. The restaurant we wanted for dinner was overly booked. We could not get in. We did have a good dinner at lounge in the facility. Our trip was too short!. The rooms are very small. It just does'nt fit luggage and 2 adults. crowds of peple. The hotel sent me an email a few days prior to our arrival advising we could upgrade our room to a lake view room for an extra $100 per night or a mountain view room for an extra $50 per night, which did not please me! I sent them an appropriate response and we (fortunately) got lake view rooms at no extra charge. The loudiest air con I have ever experienced. I could not sleep well because of the noise and I had to turn it off around 3am in the morning. While well appointed the $700 per night lake view rooms were very small to the point where two people could not walk between the bureau and bed at the same time. Things you would not be charged for at regular hotels were always extra and extremely overpriced (E.G. parking, internet access, breakfast, etc). I would only recommend staying at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for very special occasions. the room was too warm the frig didnt work pay extra for the internet is not done in such a hotel. Wiah it was more reasonably priced so we coul have stayed longer. The hotel room is not sophisticated. that you charged for wifi. It would be good to be able to better identify family rooms or how to book with teenage children. For example can extra beds be added or a sofa bed. We booked 2 rooms and specifically asked that second room have twin beds but this request was overlooked making it difficult for our teenage son and daughter to share a bed. We felt it was very expensive, did not include breakfast so 2x cornflakes and toast was over $32. We would not stay there again. Would stay elsewhere and take an easy stroll down to the lake. The bathroom was tiny and the reception want to upgrade you as you check in for an extra cost. Internet should be free of cost. Parking is too expensive. While upgrading to lake view room and paying additional $150 a day, I still found that I was given a non lake view room which was really upsetting. Low quality food Poor view from window Unclean facilities Bad for biking. Cost of food.
