Clean and classy rooms, excellent breakfast, (lots of fresh fruit), adjustable heat in rooms, extra touches in bathroom (large make-up mirror), and a computer in lobby downstairs, underground parking. Very obliging and helpful staff; went above and beyond and checked us in 5 hours early without question. Excellent staff (Thank you! Cassandra), very helpful, professional and friendly. Nice and clean facility in the heart of Kelowna Downtown. Great location for shopping and close to Orchard Mall and Lake beach. Good Wi-Fi Internet. Good security with video surveillance on the floor.
all reviews » I ran the Marathon and the location was 'ideal'! The room was exactly what I needed for the weekend. The breakfast was wonderful. I really appreciate a fresh cup of 'hot coffee' and a great variety to choose from for food and I was very pleased with what you offered!. Was not there very long. Arrived late at night and left next morning. Staff offered a later checkout of 12.30 instead of 11am at no extra cost. Was in the middle of down town so plenty close by. Breakfast was adequate and hotel very clean. I loved the location because it was in walking distance of the beach and the downtown shops. The room was clean and comfortable. It could be a little noisy because of being right downtown, but the noise didn't bother me. We really liked the location, right on the main drag with the balcony overlooking the street on the 2nd floor. The street party was a bonus with the music to listen to from our room. We would stay again in a heartbeat. We enjoyed a late fall stay - everything we needed was supplied - the staff was super friendly and helpful The map provided in the hotel helped us find our way around the city. We'd go back to Royal Anne! Don. I liked the size of the room and that it was downtown. It had underground parking and bars/restaurants located all around. It also had a small gym. Staff were helpful and listened/responded if concerns. The location is as central and convenient as you can get. The rooms are generously sized - I had 2 queen beds and some room to spare. The staff were friendly, helpful, efficient, and hard-working. The staff from front desk to housekeeping were awesome. Could not say enough about the location. Ear plugs helped the noise from the party next door and the bar below. Thought that was great. Friendly staff, rooms where amazing clean and well taken care of all the amenities where good. Might be a plus for someone looking for a late night outside party. I can not think of very much. We would have liked to have had waffles for breakfast also. The gym had a musty smell to it and it took till 3 pm for housekeeping to make up room without a refill on toiletries. The low staffing level meant that the staff had to work extra hard to maintain the excellent service. Parking was an issue and because of the bar out back it was very important that we park underground. I take of my car and had I been unable to park I would have been very unhappy. We did not stay for breakfast after seeing what was offered. We had a lady singing at three in the morning but it was nice as she was in tune. City construction started fairly early in the am. Even though parking was available, it was a little tight with a big car - but I manged. can't really think of anything. The bar across the street had noisy patrons, at 2:30 a.m., I finally call the front desk. I believe the police where called, the rowdies left. My wife said the room was too hot (I didn't tell her I turned off the air conditioner because it was on the cold side). No lounge for evening relaxation, and only one small chair plus a desk chair in the room to sit in. The road in front of the room was being resurfaced and there was a bit of noise and it was awkward getting the luggage to the room. However, that is not a permanent problem. Not really anything. Could've used a small kettle. Rooms are on the smaller side. Of course the heat/ac is normal noisy. While we were warned about road construction and it was noisy, the worst part of noise was the neighbours in the room next to us (I asked my husband if it wrong to wish that they would fall off the balcony and die) and the bars getting out at 2:00 a.m. on Bernard Street. If staying there again, I would take the hotel's suggestion of asking for a room on the backside of the hotel. Parking is minimal and awkward. The noise from the bar across the road was an annoyance. The parking stalls are very small but it is nice to have underground secure parking. It was abit noisey in the street about 2 AM but it was a saturday nite so maybe that is to be expected.. underground parking very tight for larger vehicles. noise from pub across street at 2 am. Bathroom door too close to toilet. I liked everything else. We had asked for and got a back room to avoid the pub noise (at the 2 am closure), but could still hear it despite my impaired hearing. This must be an issue for many besides the Royal Anne and the City should be taking measures to deal with the problem. Sliding door would not close so the wind whistled through it and noisy when works started in the morning. I would absolutely not recommend you stay here on a Friday or Saturday night unless you are partying. There is an extremely loud pub across the street and the noise is disturbing until 3:00am. I was a little upset that I was put on the side closest to the pub without any thought that I might enjoy some sleep. Car parking limited on site. Noise from the hotel across the road until 2 or 3 in the mornings. Walls we're very thin and unfortunately you could hear everything going on in the next room. They were having a very good time!. Carpet in the room was stained and quite dirty looking. A bit noisy as it's opposite bars and restaurants!. limited underground parking. They put a hold on my credit card for double the price of the room and forgot to take it off. Nothing. noisy heating/ cooling unit. Breakfast fairly basic. Didn't like that it was difficult to find a spot to unload our baggage and the stairs to get into the hotel. I could not get the room warm.
