  The bungalows are superb in a wonderful setting with woods and river nearby. We had a kitchenette, dining and sitting area and separate bedroom. All extremely comfortable and best bit was that we could sit and watch the wildlife from our window. We were warned on arrival that there was a bit of bear activity but unfortunately we didn't see any alt... what people say » hough were told that one had visited at night. We did see elk and deer however. The adjoining restaurant is excellent with good fresh cooked food and - Loved Jasper House Bungalows highly recommend a stay here. Just out of Jasper we were fortunate to get a cabin on the river. Elk came through on the first night and being Aussies we enjoyed the squirrels being about. The restaurant was fabulous and the staff super friendly. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a stay. Not far out of Jasper but far enough you have peace and tranquillity. Loved it.

  Old charm, the pub downstairs had live music that could be heard in the hotel, however it did not go late, which leant itself to part of the charm of staying in an old hotel. Lovely pool, albeit small and cool as well as hot tub, good after a days hiking.   I loved that there was no tv. I loved the real fireplace and free wood that was provided. I loved the location as the view was majestic and we were far enough away from town to hear the silence of the night.   Your hotel came highly recommended by a friend who was married there in sept of last year.We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back. The price of the room made it much easier for us to enjoy our weekend getaway and all the staff were so friendly. It is a beautiful hotel and we are considering having our wedding there when we set a date.... what people say » Thank you - The inn had good sized rooms, clean and comfortable. A choice of three restaurants, with an indoor courtyard and a very interesting fireplace in the middle. We used the laundry facilities, but did not get around to the spa - there were no prices for the spa in the information in the room. Last day on checkout there were two Elk across the street!

  We have stayed at The Tonquinn before and they were very good to us. We booked a double bed room, but because we forgot to mention we had a dog they only had two bed queen rooms available that were pet friendly. At the same rate we booked, they upgraded us! We had a rough night with the noise coming on every 8 minutes. In the morning we told the front de - The sheets smelled so nice and clean. I think they are fairly newly renovated rooms. It's maybe a bit small for square footage in this room but we only had double beds and we were very comfortable sleeping here. The swimming pool looked so nice with the big windows but unfortunately we went to bed after our supper and didn't get a chance to use the pool.

  Our loft room was a great design, and had a good amount of space. Was very quiet, but I suspect this was due to time of year - might be less quiet in snow season! Bed was good size and quality, bathroom nice and clean and reasonably modern. About a 10min walk from the busier, downtown part of Jasper. Lots of parking.   The hotel is central, close to the train station and shopping. The staff are young, friendly and helpful. Our room was large (2 double beds), very clean, comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, and clean. The room was on the street side, away from the station, and was very quiet, although I did hear faint noises of trains shunting in the rail y... what people say » ard when I woke up in the night ......... the noise did not wake me. The associated Pub was great fun, and a good place to have lunch. There is a very - What a perfect location!! Whistler's Inn is right in the center of town, across from the picturesque train station with the mountain backdrop. We loved the town of Jasper and had a great dinner at Villa Caruso. We only stayed one night, in-between camping. We were upgraded to the suite with the corner bay window in the little tower. How cool!!

  After a few sleepless nights in Canmore, Sunwapta Falls came like a rain in the desert! It was absolutely lovely. Our room was kitchy and dated, but the beds were extremeely modern, comfortable and clean. The entire resort caters to quiet people and the room was SILENT after 10 pm - we caught up on much-needed sleep! The restaurant was fantastic... what people say » and we loved splashing out for a couple of delicious, beautifully prepared dinners. In-room bar fridge made making breakfast and lunch easy. Loved S - Staff service was the best we encountered on our 25th anniversary bike tour from Jasper to Banff. Janessa helped us plan our travel and allowed us to leave our vehicle at the resort for an extra 4 days. She even had champagne waiting for us in the room. We will always remember your thoughtfulness and first class service. Thank you , Andrea and Jim

  We loved the location! Beautiful place!! Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had eaten breakfast at the restaurant there and came away very full! The menu was awesome and the food was excellent! I had mentioned to the waitress that it was our 40th Anniversary and felt it was a good start to the day! We decided to make a reservation for dinner ... what people say » that evening. When they sat us down they had put a heart shaped ornament on our table!! Felt very spoilt!!The food was fabulous!! They had surprised u - In jasper in the slow time of year, the restaurant was only open a couple times a week so we didn't get to enjoy it tat much. That being said we had breakfast Wednesday morning which was delicious and dinner Wednesday night, also delicious, staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The proximity to Jasper can be a little bit of a headache but when all the facilities are open would be much better. Very close to some very good walking trails and pyrami

  because our pre booked was not ready they gave us an upgrade, not only had the room been updated but we had a kitchen with oven so were able to cook for our selves. The bed was fantastic,the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Staff very friendly and there was a pool and Hot Tub - Excellent value. About 10 min walk into town or 1 min by car.... what people say » Friendly greetings and attentive staff. Easy parking. Quiet location. Rooms fair size perfect for weekend or overnight.   Hotel very well located downtown. Nice view of the mountains. Room very clean and fancy. Big plasma Tv screen. Near, you have restaurants, grocery store, laundrymat (very practical) if you spend more than a week in Jasper. Via Rail and Greyhound station is 2 minutes walk. Tourism office is very near as well. Hotel has a resto-bistro as well. Room... what people say » service from the resto. (food over priced though). Also a movie theater near. In the room, you have a sink but no toilet. Hotel has common toilet and - Although we had to use a shared toilet and tub/shower for the floor, I never ran into anyone else in there, so it actually wasn't a big deal. The room and washroom were both very clean. I was worried because there was no air conditioning (in August), but there was a big window that could be opened and a fan over the bed, and I slept very comfortably. The price was also very good for peak time in Jasper.
