I was very pleasantly surprised by this motel. It's budget priced BUT it was clean, friendly and bilingual. I was doing genealogy on my family in the area so it's location was close to the Archives, churches and cemeteries that I needed to visit. Interestingly... the type of cars in the parking lot were much higher quality than I expected for a motel... and the guests that I spoke with were regulars each year. I will definitely return and do recommend it.

Although the motel is on a very busy road, the rooms are at right angles to it and therefore actually reasonably quiet. Staff was courteous and unobtrusive. At my request, my daughter was moved from the single (cheaper) room I had booked, which was across the courtyard, to the larger room right next to ours at no extra cost. Aside from the location.. A little shady due to the bars in the area.. it was still very quiet and extremely clean. Staff are top notch.. We have stayed their two years in a row now, while in town for the Tattoo expo at the Casino and will keep booking at this Hotel.. value is unbeatable and very clean and quiet. It wasn't a five-star hotel, but the rooms were very clean, the continental breakfast was above average and the location was excellent, for it was only 10 minutes away from the parliament buildings and the Museum of Civilization, and there were restaurants all around the motel! Good value!. This is our second time staying at the Motel. With one year old daughter, we didn't have any problems. Staff was very friendly and good value for money with the breakfast. You got what you paid but it is a different than other motel coz it is clean, quit, and location near by everthing. We loved everything! Had a very comfortable stay, staff was amazing. Would stay here in a heartbeat anytime!. we like that the staff was bilingual help and curtious they go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Location which is 6 km from downtown Ottawa. bed is soft. The area is quite seedy and run-down, although the hotel isn't. The breakfast was pretty basic: horrible coffee, toast from supermarket bread, oversweet muffins. not much to hate, but internet service was a little weak due to us being far back from the main hotel. Carpet need to be change. not much the pool there was no life guard when we were there. No safe in room. how the room smelled when we went into it the first time. I guess it was closed for a long while before. no rooms for desabilyte. Breakfast was correct, we missed something salad like ham, but for the price was ok. a bit dated. We had hop.ed to be forced into practising our limited french but were mostly recognised as English speakers and spoken to in English. in the first room, the bed was broken so had to change rooms. pool not open yet. Loud noises from the roof especially during the night. Did not answered to my email and question. low diversity of breakfast options. There was nothing to dislike - the place was very comfortable. Nothing. the fan in the washroom. Noisy. A group of people were partying till midnight and making noise at 6 am the following morning. there are no slippers. The pool was not working. The staff were very rude maybe because we didn't speak french. The curtains were held up by bandaids. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
