I liked the friendly greeting I recieved from the staff on arrival.Rhonda in housekeeping took special care that my room was well provided. Satish, the manager was on top of everything and even drove me into town on a particularly rainy day. The continental breakfast is more than ample and the breakfast room is very pleasant. The Seabreeze in punches well above its weight. Thankyou Satish and Rhonda for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. I used the Barbecue area on the Sunday that I was ther.
all reviews » Right from the start we were treated so well by the Manager. He graciously came and picked us up from town since we had flown into Ganges by seaplane. We were able to walk into and back from town several times. Later he drove us to pick up our adult daughter who was joining us. He was gracious and helpful and went the extra mile twice! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. We also used the hot tub and enjoyed the location with the view of the ocean and the woods. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. The room we booked was to be an ocean view but it was not as we had been told. The manager upgraded the room at no extra cost to us. We were only a ten minute walk from Ganges which was nice and a taxi was ride back was only five dollars. We had a kitchenette in the room which was great. The price was awesome! The location was perfect! We were visiting our son who lives on the island and we didn't need to spend a lot of time at the Inne, but it was the perfect facility for us and really was better than we ever anticipated!. Great location near to Ganges village.Quiet, air conditioned room, spacious outdoor area to play or sit in and a nice barbecue area. The owner drove us to the bus stop as we had a lot to carry when we were leaving to catch the ferry home. Stayed here one night 28 June - 29 June. Great staff, room was good, great facilities. Enjoyed sitting by the natural gas fireplace. Close to Ganges, less that 1 km away. Would recommend. This is the 5th time we have stay there and we really enjoyed our stay again this time. The rooms are clean, the staff are professionally and want to make sure you enjoy your stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly, we went in March when it was still cold but the courtyard/bbq area looks amazing! Would love to come back and enjoy it in the summertime:). I stayed for two nights. On the first, I was awakened at 5:00 am by noisy neighbours. I asked to change my room and was immediately given a quieter room. Truly great service. The staff -all we're extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and surroundings lovely. Very courteous and friendly welcome, room had everything you would expect, comfortable beds. Good breakfast selection. Location was great, close to town. We wanted to use the hot tub one morning but the gate was locked . We went to the office but no one came to open the gate. The hot tub didn't seem to be in top condition, could have used a good cleaning. the hot tub should have been hotter. We stayed 2 nights and they didn't make the beds. Everything was first class. Lack of privacy: with the curtains open, everyone passing by could see into the room which was a shame - it would have been nice to be able to enjoy the sunlight and the view. tv was to small for size of room. there was no air conditioning. TV is dated. would be nice to have an upgrade. Easy to hear noise from next room. 1. The tv needs to be updated. 2. Permitting smoking on the common-area balcony outside our room was a problem, as we had smokers staying in the rooms inn either side of us and their smoke blew into our room. We therefore had to keep the door and window closed whenever anyone was smoking on the balcony. Despite liking the Seabreeze Inne a lot, I won't stay there again because of the smoking issue. The fact few rooms were rented but we were all put in one area. We had to listen to the squeaky floor above. Floor very cold Unable to get warm at night in bed. Old style TV in room. Beds could use an upgrade. very dated decore, but functional. no air conditioning. no sea view from room. 1. Door chain not secure 2. Staff / Manager not always around. The Bed!. N/A. It is a little ragged on the edges with items that are not fully functional. TV doesn't work in dining area, no toaster in our room Actually though described as having kitchen facilities, it was difficult to cook for lack of counter space and crowding. The room would have been nicer with twin beds and room to move around. The hot tub had far too much chlorine. The lock on the door had been previously damaged... Likewise the chain latch had been dislodged in the past and the screws holding it were hanging by a few threads. Maybe an intersting story behind that but not to me. In the middle of Dec., it would have been nice to have had the room even partially pre-heated. cramped room, cramped bathroom, uncomfortable beds. Person managed the Inne was not helpful, each time we had a question, he would tell us to go to the visitor center. When asked to book a taxi, he gave us the taxi company telephone no. We stayed two nights in two separate rooms. The rooms need upgrade. Needs updating a repairs. Generally tattered look. Sticking door in bathroom. Electric lighting so dim it was difficult to read. Needs much up-dating.
