  Great location for a hotel, right in the middle of downtown, near the shops and restaurants. Smaller hotel and great for your budget as it has the same amenities as other hotel just not as "fancy". There is free indoor parking just behind the hotel and if it is too busy, they have $5 parking underground. It was also affordable and in the center of town (I.E. very convenient/short walk to restaurants, laundromat, drugstore, parking garage, etc.). I also liked that there was a refrigerator in the room.

  My 83 year old mother and I were in Banff for my cousin's wedding at the Fairmont Hotel. We could not afford to stay at the Fairmont (even with a discounted room at $250 a night) and the y Mountain Lodge proved to be an excellent, economical choice for us. We came all the way from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia for the weekend (yeah, I know that is a c... what people say » razy distance to travel for just the weekend, lol) and we were extremely pleased with the service along with the helpful and friendly staff! We would - Staff is very friendly. Great view out of the room window. Quiet place away from downtown.We could store our luggage on the check-out day. Complimentary internet. Free simple breakfast.   Value for money was good with nil significant concerns about the hotel's quality, service or appearance. Only hotel that had generator power when the Banff town power station went out due flooding. - -the staff was friendly -easy to park -nice breakfast (outside tables also available) -not on busy avenue, so not much noise around

  My wife and I travel yearly and Bumpers Inn has been truly the best motel we have stayed at. Lorna the front desk staff-whom I believe is the owner, is polite, professional and kind. We found her cleaning staff to be very friendly and approachable if you need supplies. We stayed in a spacious second floor room that had a vaulted ceiling and a door... what people say » to step out onto balcony overlooking the terrace. The fridge was quiet and the two windows could both be easily opened. When I initially looked at th - Best Price in Banff! The rooms are 2x the size of the Fairmont and 1/3 the price. Rooms are aged but its a motel/motor inn so if you want a hot tub, gym and a place for the kids while you nurse your hangover this is not your place. if you want a place that is banff budget and choose to spend your money on enjoying your stay while in banff (skiing, restaurants, child care, hot springs) than pay the 80$ and don't expect anything more than a spacious room to sleep while you explore the area. very

  The location - very near the Bow River and (just) slightly away from the central bustle of downtown Banff - was convenient and yet pleasantly quiet. The staff was outstanding! Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and relatively reasonable. Ask for an upper floor room to get a better view of the mountains! - Great staff, location, comfort, and price. Rooms were clean (better than Chateau Canmore where I stayed previously)! Sorry I forgot to leave a tip as I was rushing out of there. Probably one of the best deals out there. Cheaper even than a few bed and breakfasts that I looked at. Melissa's (?) next door was a great location for breakfast (also good prices and staff). Great that parking is available. I would stay again for sure.

  Great location, nice daylight basement studio apartment. Everything our family needed. Close to downtown and a grocery store. Saved a lot of money because we had a kitchen. - Location, budget friendly and that a group of friends can gather in a suite to chat etc. Understanding staff that put our suites next door to each other.

  Really can't beat the bang for your buck . Really nice room and very comfortable beds. There is a breakfast buffet at the ptarmigan hotel where you check in to the driftwood and for $14 , gst and tip included, you eat like a king and have bottomless juice and coffee.
