  Great location for a hotel, right in the middle of downtown, near the shops and restaurants. Smaller hotel and great for your budget as it has the same amenities as other hotel just not as "fancy". There is free indoor parking just behind the hotel and if it is too busy, they have $5 parking underground. Great overall experience who those want a... what people say » comfortable and simple room that won't cost you a fortune! - I liked that the staff were super-friendly and knowledgeable. It was also affordable and in the center of town (I.E. very convenient/short walk to restaurants, laundromat, drugstore, parking garage, etc.). I also liked that there was a refrigerator in the room.

  My 83 year old mother and I were in Banff for my cousin's wedding at the Fairmont Hotel. We could not afford to stay at the Fairmont (even with a discounted room at $250 a night) and the y Mountain Lodge proved to be an excellent, economical choice for us. We came all the way from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia for the weekend (yeah, I know that is a c... what people say » razy distance to travel for just the weekend, lol) and we were extremely pleased with the service along with the helpful and friendly staff! We would - Staff is very friendly. Great view out of the room window. Quiet place away from downtown.We could store our luggage on the check-out day. Complimentary internet. Free simple breakfast. Best value in town. Communal kitchen available.

  Value for money was good with nil significant concerns about the hotel's quality, service or appearance. Only hotel that had generator power when the Banff town power station went out due flooding. - -the staff was friendly -easy to park -nice breakfast (outside tables also available) -not on busy avenue, so not much noise around
