Everything, at least in terms of accommodation & related services. From the personnel (especially the very kind and extremely English-articulate young guy who was on duty the evening we arrived) to our (superior) room' sheer space - enormous! :) -, features & design. Good beds (even they were twin, not a matrimonial), nice LCD TV, powerful A/C, awesome shower area (I do have a sensitivity towards this kind of feature)... Add to this the location - not on a central road, but close enough.
all reviews » The hotel was small and very coquettish, very clean and comfortable, quiet location. I liked very much the bathroom and also the rooms were quite comfortable. The service was good, most of the staff speaks English, all the persons from the reception were very complacent. We also had free parking in the hotel yard and appreciated the location as it was very close to the centre of the city, parks, museums, restaurants and pedestrian walk boulevard. Rooms are spacious, clean and with airco. Very close to center. We had the suite for 5 euro more, but the superior rooms are almost as big as the suite. |Recmmended for a (short) stay. - Centrally located. - Private parking. - Elevator. - Air condition. - Clean rooms. - Friendly & englisch speaking staff. - Easy check-in & check-out. As we had been offered our morning meal in the cafe-bar that's part of the hotel, well, the breakfast was just decent, but not that great (perhaps except coffee!) as compared to other points - of strength. Wish they would serve butter instead of margarine, at least. The wi-fi coonection wasn't working very good, but maybe it was for a short period of time, as I tried it only for 1 hour. Actually nothing to complain about. Beakfast wwas a choice of 4 dishes, not very special. Nothing. Smell of stale tobacco in room. There is an ashtray on the balcony (fair enough) but I think people smoke standing in the balcony door, especially in the winter. there should be warning signs in the room to say smoking is an offense and, when, when using the balcony, the door should be kept shut. The smell we had for the 1st 24 hours could put people off ever returning, loss of business for hotel which they really do not want so signs are in their interest. Private car park only holds 4 cars. Hard to find -- a lot of one way streets. There is no Restaurant in the hotel, although 2 restaurants at 50 meters distance. They recommend a poor restaurant and lost points because of this. Most of the staff didn't know English well. todo perfecto, excepto que había mosquitos en la habitación (típicos del verano) Everything perfect, except the mosquitos. misleading description as suite had no microwave and hotel has no a la carte restaurant!. No black tea at breakfast!. Poor breakfast. no kettle,no iron,breakfast.
