Beds were very comfortable and both the bedroom and the shower room were a good size. Dinner at eur 6 was extremely good value. There was a choice of three different salads for the first course (all freshly prepared) and a choice of seven or eight main courses. The 'garnish' on the menu is actually chips, which were probably better than some of the chips we had eaten all week in quite expensive restaurants. We stay here as a stop over when we were collecting friends from the Airport. And found all staff were friendly and very helpful. The place was clean through out the facilities and the room had fresh clean linen.. The hotel is a walkable distance to a mall which has some great designer shops as well as care four a cheaper shop with lots of goods. There are bus stops close by. And I found the drive to the airport very easy taking me 6 minutes and sign posted well The evening meal was good and at. Stayed there for one night between flights - staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us happy (including allowing late checkout). This was the second time we visited this hotel, and just like the first time, the room was clean and beds comfortable. Close to "The Mall" which we visited for some kids entertainment before the boring flight. There is also a bank in the hotel building which made exchanging my unneeded local currency very easy (and at a proper rate, unlike airport r. The hotel is ideally located close to the Airport, with easy reach to Sofia center by public transport or taxi. It is also located close to a local Mall (10 – 15 minute walk from hotel)lots of shops and also a cinema. The hotel provides complementary airport pick-up and drop off (10 minutes to airport). The breakfast is very good, while dinner is also available. It is clean and spacious and I will be staying there again in September 2013 (This will be my 5th time at this hotel) I wouldn't hesit. Second stay at the hotel and first time to eat in the restaurant. We really enjoyed the food and wine in the restaurant. The no-nonsense, honest utilitarian look works especially with the quality of food. Staff were great in reception and restaurant; very helpful and all speak excellent English. Parking is good for hired cars and the transfer to the airport was invaluable... priceless. Our tip to the driver was too small and did not reflect the value of the service. Out of cash on last hours. If you think this is a 2 star hotel, and you should not bother with it, think again. This is by far, the best 2* hotel, I ever stayed in (and I have had my share of hotels this live, all across the Europe), much better than most 3* hotels. Big rooms, big lcd tv, clean and big bathroom, electronic ajustable beds (never seen that, not even in the 4* hotels), fair breakfast, free parking, relatively close to the city center. And the price, was a steal, realy... Hotel is very nice for that price. Location is very comfortable if you need just overslept one night before next flight from Sofia Airport. Taxi from airport to ATM Center Hotel costs around 10 levs (5 Euros), and transfer to airport is free (you should just request it on reception). It was my fourth time in Sofia and the second time at ATM Hotel. It is simply the best 2 stars hotel I have ever seen and booked. It's a very nice hotel with everything you need. The beds are comfy and with electrical adjustments, big wide screen TV with lots of channels to choose, clean rooms. Now they even have free wireless internet! On the plus side the hotel was very near to the airport and makes it an excellent choice should you need to stay in Sofia in between flights. They also offer courtesy transport to/from the airport. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is ultra basic but I wasn't concerned at all as the hotel was picked for its budget value. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is in an industrial zone really away from the center just by a very busy highway. Ten minutes driving to the airport, what makes it perefect for late arrivals or early departures (That´s what I used it for). They even got a free shuttle service to the airport. I found the directions on the web non useful. As depending way into Sofia the dual carriage way can not be crossed and you have to go off one side and under bridges and back up on other side of dual carriage way. The sign posting for the Hotel on the dual carriage way was far to small. And at night there Hotel is not visible from the road as the hotel is not lit up in any way . The coffee lounge was closed at weakened, which is a shame as it is nice area. I was charged for the room when I made the booking even though the booking conditions were for free cancellation + pay on site in local currency. Everything was OK but I contacted letsbookhotel.com just to let them know and I hope this will be fixed for future bookings. Nothing, a great place to stay. The nearby roundabout needs careful attention for drivers and the hotel has special maps printed to negotiate this. Worth asking for this in advance of driving... if driving. Nothing at all. Anyway, city center is little far away, so I don't recommend this hotel if you want explore city well. The distance to city center is about 7km. I used my own car for most travels to city center. The hotel does a great job with what appears (I guess) to be a retrofit of a wing of a modernist office block. That explains there can (sometimes) be sounds from adjoining rooms. We've stayed on at least 10 occasions and accept that possible aspect given the many benefits of staying at this hotel. Only 1 thing that is the drain is a bit whiffy in the bathroom, but not a complaint. Poor breakfast but reasonable for that price. Nothing. The breakfast was of a very poor variety and quality. The room itself was not particularly clean. The windows are sealed and cannot be opened (although the air conditoning worked well). The "private parking" was just a local parking lot behind the hotel, and it looked slightly dodgy and we felt concerned about leaving our car there overnight with any kind of things inside. The breakfast is really poor, though it is difficult to expect something fancy for the price. The walls are super thin. You can hear absolutely everything from the neighbor's room. Nothing!. practically nothing. nothing, would stay there again. The hotel roundabout experience for right hand drive drivers is a feature to remember forever. The hotel has a great little map of it but maybe best to use a taxi or ask the hotel for their excellent transfer service. Few little niggles like the mould in the shower and the fridge did not work. Compared to uk, the hotel would be best described as 'tired and in need of a few repairs', but everything was clean. I wouldn't use the pool. Even for washing my socks!!. Thin walls - a little discomfort due to fact that you can hear neighbourn's action. Everything is okay. Hotel fine - but walked 25 mins and over 1km to reach 84 bus stop to Airport. On returning from Centre bus 213 veers right and drops off on wrong side of wide dual carriageway and flyover, all railed off. Had to walk 500m, cross road, and catch a bus back to reach hotel. Sofia not pedestrian friendly, not even a facility to get to other side of road after leaving big shopping centre and Carrefour. Also pavements must be worst in Europe with broken and dangerously uneven paving everywhere. For what I paid everthing was perfect. Rooms are a bit clinical, could do with a bit of a face lift, and the windows don't open. No cereal or eggs for breakfast. staff at the restaurant were a bit rude. no acoustic islolation between the rooms (noisy people from the next room nearly all night). Breakfast is still terrible, but I don't care. Poor breakfast. Nothing. The only two minor negative points were : There was no hairdryer available and no tea or coffee facilities in our room, but that is the case in most European countries that we have visited. Too cheap :). The room is not cozy, the windows are hermetically closed, the smell is not nice. Noisy wedding party in bar/resturant, but. Private parking is misleading in its advertisement. There is no designated parking area for the hotel. We have to park on a parking space near the hotel. Everything ok. Bathroom cleanliness is where the hotel needs to improve. nothing. You have to wait long for your food at the restaurant, but the food is very good. Sometimes sweeping pool was reserved by privat parties.
