  I chose the room with patio upon suggestion of other visitors: definitely nice and cozy. Been on the ground level and surrounded by windows, though, the temperature was low and I had to keep the heat on all night long.   Stayed in many hotels in Plovdiv. Novotel is by far the best. The upper floors has a nice city view. The receptionists were very helpful. - Good position. Friendly, informative front-desk staff. Nice design and amenities. OK value for money if you catch a discount.

  Nice hotel, small, but if you take the studio with kitchenette the room is spacious. The bathroom is well laid out, with a great shower and the only let down is the toilet seat moves, but everything is clean. The internal shutters in the room are great for a lie in, though remember to set the alarm as they allow almost no ligh - The Hotel is close to the center, very easy to walk to the main street. The room was very clean, and the bed confortable. The breakfast was satisfaying, sweet & salty for everyone. There is a paying parking close to the hotel, just ask the guy at the hotel, he will give you a card to put in the car in order not to pay.

  We booked a regular double room for 6 nights, but got an upgrade for the suite instead (no extra charge!) due to room planning issues. The suite was lovely. One staff member speaks french quite well, the other staff members a little english.   The location is great if you're coming in or out of the city through the north bus station. The staff was very nice and everything was in good condition. It is a nice place to stay in Plovdiv. - The staff were really friendly and the conditions were very good. I would say- excellent value for the money given.

We asked for one particular room and it was given to us. I read many negative comments on the hotel and I don't really dont know why. It is a very nice and cozy place.

  We were surprised to find Boris Palace immidiately when we entered Plovdiv. Boris, the owner of the hotel, Cristina and the rest stuff helped us with our luggage and parked our car in their private parking. Our room was in the first floor, it was nice, clean, spacious and cosy. Every night we were asked the time we would like to have our breakfast ... what people say » the next morning. Our breakfast was always served in the table making us feeling unique as we didn't have to take a plate and wonder around the restau - excellent location, easy access both to main city sights and shopping, unique design, very friendly owner, wonderful city panorama from the terrace; just a couple of recommendations for future visitors. Make sure you've got comfortable shoes as the pavement of Saborna street is antique and not suitable for high heels; also there is a comfortable parking area just 100 meters from the hotel and it makes sense to use it instead of parking in the nearest narrow side-streets
