Hotel was lovely but be careful ther is 3 bus station when bookin this hotel we saw revievs close to bus station make sure you get the right on on our arrivel to plovdiv we got to the wrong bus station anyway it wasnt a problem people were very friendly we walk 2k but it ok my husband and I are use to walking the hotel great location plovdiv a lovely city we did an english speaking walking tour we found a lovely resturent calld hemmingway its on the main centre a little above avarage price but .
all reviews » The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - and the 24hr recption was always manned by a happy smily receptionist no matter what time! The room was an excellent size and had a lovely view of the hills of Plovdiv. It was well placed, not too close to the centre but only a 10 min walk. It was modern and well decorated, so too were the rooms. Nice location within a walking distance from the city centre. The staff was friendly and helpful, Plovdiv has excellent food (pizza at Gusto is a must), nice clubs (visit Marmalad and Infi) and cheap prices in general. The quality for the money you pay is OK. Nice bar (White bar) down the lobby. It was in a great location for what i needed to do. The staff was excellent and I needed the help a lot about various things! Were excellent on directions. Every staff I encounter was excellent! A plus on staff that is from reception, restaurant, housekeeping. Great job!. good price,great design big rooms,closer to the city center,so cheap-good quality restaurant and lobby bar,we really enjoyed the hotel and we cant wait to stay there again,one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in bulgaria. Service was good and well maintained despite disruption caused by reconstruction of outdoor seating area. Have stayed here many times over the years and we have always felt well looked after. The hotel rooms are large and decorated fun and modern. Staff was very nice. 8/9 min walk from bus station good for early departure and same to town there is a nice park to cut through. As many-time visitors we can say we have always enjoyed the the comfort of the rooms both luxury and standard, the service of the hotel and the good food at a very reasonable price. -Funky looking and spacious rooms (loved the Leopard Skin chair)!!! -Big bath tub. -Fridge and mini bar. -White bar downstairs was great, food excellent! -Breakfast was great too!!. The shower was badly fitted and flooded the bathroom when used. We specially requested a double bed but were given too singles - but even this wasn't too much of a hassle as we just pushed the two together. Well, the room was way way too hot, the internet room had no printer, but the staff was great telling me where I could get something printed! The soap was the size of my thumb, I bought my own! Had much trouble with the electronic key to the room and trouble getting the elevator to go down. the main lift broke down but obviously these things happen everywhere from time to time. -Decent location near bus and train station, although still a 15 min walk to Old Town. On the whole a very good hotel, except for a couple of points: 1. The bath/shower was leaky, that is to say, after every shower, expect to walk into a puddle, but this can be fixed easily. 2. The wi-fi was weak, so an extender can fix this too. Perhaps being on the 10th floor might have had something to do with the weak signal. otherwise, excellent. The lighting was a bit dim. The bathroom, although renovated,looked like it would soon fall apart. Few English TV channels. No hot coffee for breakfast. there was a problem with the machine and no alternative. If you come down late there isn't much left. Room on the small size. Poor wi-fi. Decor was funky once but is starting to look a bit shabby in parts. Chairs in restaurant were grubby. Coffee machine was broken at breakfast the second morning and the waiter showed no initiative at all e.g. He could have boiled some water and give us Nescafé instead. nothing. Staff did not at first offer the price found online, had to get on wireless in the lobby and make the reservation for it to be honored. No other complaints though. The bathroom - see for yourself as it's difficult to describe but it made us giggle :-). - few English speaking staff - not in a very interesting part of the city. There can be a late breakfast after 10 O'clock maybe... No internet in room ,no telephone list to call resaption. no faults. One elevator was not working. So we should wait a little bit more to go to the 9th floor. the noise of a/c. Wifi in the room didn't work all the time. We stayed for 2 nights but our room wasn't cleaned. The sofa-bed is not very stable. If you sit in the middle you can fall down. Nothing. Unreliable wi-fi. WiFi connection was erratic. I could not connect when I most needed to!. Bathroom not been cleaned properly in 2 nights we stayed at the hotel. Airconditionning is too weak for the size of the room, especially on those hot summer days. Breakfast is poor (eg omelet was burning because staff forgot to put water in the dish warmer) and service, even though they are trying to do their best, is poor. The size of the room is too small, the bathroom as well. Should be internet in the room , but you have to be very lucky if you can connect. If you like bright places thishotel is not for you because the rooms are very dark. Breakfast was poor and the decoration is so kits. Bad water, cheap tablecothes and toilet papers, small room, some things have to be repaired, poor breakfast. climatisation, fuites SDB. Musik was too loud from the bar.
