  The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of the old city center (upper city). A perfect location to explore Salvador. The area the hotel is in is newly renovated and is safe to walk around freely during days and nights. Staff speaks really good English and are extremely helpful. They even recommend attractions and shows which can b... what people say » e visited/booked. We went for a professional capoeira show in the evening just about 5 minutes from the hotel – supposingly one of the best in Brazil. - The hotel is charming. The staff are among the nicest, most helpful and accommodating I've found in all my travelling. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the bed could have slept 4 people! The location of the hotel was great for tourists, shopping (although touristy shopping mostly) and taxis were abundant and within a 1 minute walk. Good restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well.

There are Capoeira - This is an outstanding small hotel with fabulous, individually appointed rooms, immense charme and character, situated in a quiet location in the middle of the historic center of Salvador, serving a delicious breakfast and offering excellent cuisine. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. This is the best boutique hotel I have ever been staying in.
