The hotel is not a frills hotel, but it is quiet, clean, has air conditioning, and hot water. Where this place excels is in the location, staff and price. Location- 5 minutes from either Copacabana or Ipanema beach. Price- much cheaper than any of the hotels in thia area. Staff- Of all the hotels I stayed at in South America the staff at the Rio Colinas were the most helpful, spoke the best English and made me feel as comfortable as the could.
