Tasteful and pretty and great location. Lovely breakfast.

Jacuzzi bath didnt work. Staff were not welcoming and quite aloof. One girl was lovely and chatty. One of the minions was downright rude.

Everything in the hotel was superb. Of course it is a bit expensive, but you are really treated like you "own the place". The staff is just perfect. The hotel is basically a beautiful old house, with a brazilian decoration of its finest taste, and a breathtaking view of the city. Rooms are clean and classy. Just remarkable. We highly recommend it for couples without children - and don't forget to bring your own champagne to drink next to the pool around the garden. Staff will chill it up for you. The area of Santa Teresa is just magic. Simple as that.

Lets be clear: this is not a downer. More like our own opinion. Hotel charges breakfast for R$ 45,00 (US$ 20.00). In Brazil, it is a huge amount to pay for breakfast. Of course you have your breakfast in the balcony next to your room, on a very exclusive way and place. We don't mind paying that much, but we reckon breakfast should have more options besides ordinary "bread-cheese-ham-eggs-coffee-juice". Maybe some brazilian cake, something special. It would add more value.

Beautiful character property. Lovely pool and gardens. Excellent personal service and wonderful breakfast.

Incredible place. Couldn't believe how much luxury/value/etc. We were getting for the money. Felt like a real steal. Would definitely stay there again if I was ever back in Buzios. Location, staff, everything couldn't be better.

Ordered a coffee and a juice for breakfast and they brought in a whole breakfast for 2. Being that we didn't order that we thought it was a complimentary breakfast. Until we got the bill - 90 reales for 2 breakfasts we didn't order.
