Fantastic hotel, great staff. All the staff here spoke fantastic english, and really helped us out when our flight home was cancelled! They provided a driver service to take us to copacabana beach for the day, which was much cheaper than a normal taxi. They also allowed us to take a shower and use hotel towels etc before our flight home, even though we had already checked out. Service here was exemplary I would recommend it to anybody.
all reviews » Room was clean, fantastic power shower. Arrived after midnight, but they still came and collected us by free shuttle bus. The bar was kept open for us alone until we went to bed at 1am. The breakfast was excellent, free wi-fi and nothing was too much trouble. Really convenient, only 2 minutes from Airport. Don't get ripped-off by airport taxis charging £10 for the trip. I was looking for a hotel very close to the airport. Linx hotel was the only option. It is very close, convenient and comfortable. The room was lovely and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke English. They run transfers to the international airport nearby which is very convenient. very close to the airport. Free shuttle picking you up from the airport, and a telephone withint the terminall to call the shuttle, with english speaking staff. Perfect for people that needs to sleep at the airport. Location near the airport was excellent for our needs. The hotel was very new and everything worked well. The free shuttle bus to and from the airport is a nice service. Liked the friendly staff in the bar and on the reception on the day of checkout. The hotel was a bit expensive for my budget, but for the money I paid it was a lovely place. Had some trouble getting the free shuttle bus to find us at the airport. The airco and the fridge are a bit noisy. The buffet diner is very basic, and there is no alternative unless you go uptown. nothing. Very loud fridge in the room. I think that 15€ per day to keep the car in the parking not covered and not so much protected, it's quiet expensive. Nothing more. Transfer from Airport should not require to call Hotel on weekends. Just tell date company and flight number on reservation should be good sufficient. Breakfast and dinner buffet is improvable. Waited more than one hour for shuttle van to pick me up from the airport. The van never arrived and I ended up getting my own taxi despite repeated calls to the hotel reception, which hardly seemed bothered by my predicament despite the fact I told them I couldn't stand on a sprained ankle. The check in is chaotic. They also charged room price on day of booking, (nearly 2 months previously), and recharged on my arrival. I have emailed for a refund, no response, will ask credit card. Very minimal breakfast. Poor sleep. Shuttle took more than half hour to pick up from terminal 2.
