Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Staff at reception was efficient and spoke good english, cleaning was very good and the breakfast was delicious. Pool and Sauna (in Brazil!) at the top floor is highly recommended.

Extremely convenient location right by Ipanema Beach and nice restaurants and shops, The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for sightseeing advice. Our room on the Ipanema Floor was really lovely, nice modern furnishing and fantastic view of the beach. The hotel restaurant is really good and the breakfast was also excellent.

The location of this hotel is great, close to the beach.
