The Pousada is nice and has two swimming pools and nice rooms. The
breakfast is typical Brazilian so lots of cakes and fruits, but they
also have some Ham, Mortadella, cheese, scrambled egg, Tapioca and more
so for every taste there is something. The personal is really friendly
and helpful, they organize everything for you
(diving/buggy/sightseeing trips and more). Only Gustavo who is
there in the afternoon is speaking English, so some phrases are good to
know in Portuguese. The rooms are nice

unusual with a clever use of space and French doors that led to an
outside patio and stairs to a small balcony overlooking the wall. Good
location within walking distance of many nice restaurants and artisan
shops. Nice swimming pool and grounds. An oasis in the middle of
Olinda/Recife. As a bonus, on Sunday nights there is an open air
"market" with many interesting food choices and the usual
tourist fare.

The hotel is very clean with ceramic floors and has no mold which is a plus for someone that suffers from severe allergies like I do. It's right by the beach and very close to the shopping RioMar( the newest and best mall in Recife)
