The location is excellent, just right across the beach. The swimming pool is fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. The staff was always kind and nice, and always ready to solve any issues that might come up. We would definitely stay at Village Muta again, if we could.

Stayed at Le Terrace recently and couldn't have been happier with the choice of pousada. Very nice staff, excellent english by Raphael, good breakfast and best location on the island. They were doing some construction work while there but didn't cause any inconvenience, if anything it will make this already good place even better in the future. -

The hotel is located very close to the main bus station (Rodoviaria) in Salvador and a big shopping mall. Therefore, the location is great if you need to connect to a bus. Otherwise, the area is rather ugly.

Extremely friendly hostel right in the heart of the Pelourinho. Location was excellent, in the heart of Pelhourhino. Even though accommodation reflected the historic nature of the buildings and area (basic and old fashioned) it added to the feel of being in an historic, authentic location.
We had a room which adjoined a communal terrace with fantastic sea views and ideal for enjoying a late night drink.

Hotel rates were resaonable and the hotel itself was in good condition. Don´t expect caviar but the basics were good. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Location was pretty good although not on the beachfront. -
