  Staff was very helpful with giving suggestions for the activities in the city and spoke good English. Rooms are very nice and neat. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best we had in Brazil. Location is very safe, which is important if you visit Salvador.   Chez Max was a comftabel pousade. Especially the restaurant we really liked. There was every evening live music, nice food and wine. It is on the third beach so a little bit more quitte than the more busy beaches which is nice. When we forgot an ereader someone of the chez max ran to us and gave it to us just before we got on the boat which we wer... what people say » e really appreciated. The bungalow was not so cosy as we expected. The lights were to bright, the bathroom is not so clean and the feranda was a littl - Loved this place! We stayed in a Bungalow and it was great, had air con and a fridge. The location was perfect, only a couple of ins to the action and half way point to both beaches. The restaurant was also fabulous, by far the best Italian on Morro. The breakfast, which was included was also fabulous. I would 100% recommend this place.

  Great price and good location in the village center but steps from the beach. Breakfast is included and was delicious with lots of options - eggs, fruit, breads, cakes, cheeses and meats. Triple bed options are available for groups of three. Would recommend this place to others. - The location was the best

  This place is a real gem. No one could visit and not appreciate the care and thought that has gone into the design and attention to detail, especially in the bay-facing rooms, with their balconies and spacious, comfortable rooms. This was a genuinely laid-back stay, with all needs catered for and a delicious breakfast freshly-prepared each morning... what people say » . We spent plenty of time in the pousada (guest house) simply relaxing in the huge lounge downstairs, with its paintings and shelves full of books. H - Love it, love it, love it.  You have to make this your base for Salvador.... Stunning place, really nicely decorated with every detail thought about. Super friendly staff full of lots of tips and hints about the town.  It is the love and attention they put into everything which shines through -  arranged a super friendly collection from the airport, welcomed with a fresh juice, room upgraded,  Great breakfast.thank u for a wonderful stay.

  Received with best hospitality, we got two coconuts as a welcomedrink :) the room was very clean and nice, with ventilator and air cooling system. the room was very nicely decorated and for 150R$ everything (furniture etc) was of very good quality!!! we got coffee for free, and as i wanted to use internet, the dona didn t even let me pay, even if o... what people say » ne is supposed to. we had a nice talk with everyone of the pousada, from the dona to the empregada and they re very sympathic, calm, helpful and open - The staff is really friendly and the place is quite and relax.

  The owners (a friendly Brasilian/French couple) are really super!! They are punctual and caring for their customers. You will receive plenty of good tips from them and they are polyglots. We liked the location in the center of the old Salvador, it's easy and within walking distance of all interesting seeings. Don't miss the local folklore dancing spectacle (in only 3 min. walking distance from the Pousada) and the street band in Pe - Nice location, nice view from the room. Great personal,, actually the European owners are so welcoming that you forget every negative detail about the city or your trip. They give the best advices, arrange airport transfer and nice chatting in many languages which you may not find in elsewhere in Salvador. They try to find solution for all special needs.
