Our experience was excellent from every aspect: location, cleanliness of the rooms, staff, service. It's in a great position in the centre - not too far from anything but not at all noisy. 3.Close to Brussels Centraal, we paid for taxi from the hotel to BC 6 euro or you can walk there around 20 min through the city centre.

When we looked at the write up online we were concerned that The Meininger may be a bit too basic and aimed at the young backpacker.

Everything about this hotel, from the moment you step in the front entrance is clean and tidy. It is minimal but everything you need for a comfortable stay. I stayed there with my partner and another couple and it was perfect considering we really only slept there. We stayed in the room with two single beds and a bunk and there was plenty of room. The facilities are ultra modern and we found it very comfortable to stay there. It is located one street back from a main road and within reasonable walking distance to the main square. There are loads of restaurants very close to the hotel for all budgets including cheap healthy food alternatives which was nice for a change.
