On the morning of my arrival I arrive very early in Leuven, way too early for check in. The girl invited me in anyway, could store my luggage, warm up, charge my laptop and even got coffee. Very nice and flexible gesture.

The hotel is in the city center and very convenient, the room is nice with a tiny toilet. Although there is not receiption but is very convenient to have a door code and the landlord is very friendly that you can always keep contact with. If you have enough time in morning you will enjoy the DIY breakfast in the hotel.

This B&B is really exceptional. The house is four hundred years old but has been lovingly restored by Michel, the owner, and is now very comfortable indeed with a great bed. The location is amazing - directly opposite the extensive, exquisite and peaceful 13th century Begijnhof (a sort of village within a town), but just a 10 minute walk right into the centre of Leuven which is a lively and happy university town, or a 5 minute walk to the river and walks in the forest. The admosphere is a bit 'maigret'like, also because on the floor there is a cafe and the square outside is full of busy terraces. You would expect that on this location there is much noise in the night but this is not the case. It is rather quite in fact.
