  Perfect is how I would describe the Yoake .My husband and I spend our holidays travelling around Europe on our motorbike staying at hotels and b and b,s and I can honestly say it is the only place so far that we have given 10 out of 10. The owners,Michael & his wife were the perfect hosts and were always friendly,helpful and accomodating.The lovely breakfast was brought to us every morning at a time of our choosing and was very good quality.Fab room with satellite tv, free movies, well stocked drinks fridge and an eco wood burning stove.We loved our stay, and would readilly recommend B&B Yoake as one of the very best we have stayed in.Thanks Michael for your hospitality!

  This was my first time in a B&B on the continent, although a seasoned traveller, I usually find myself slave to the Accor hotel chain. On arrival, we were welcomed at the door by Peter who has to be the friendliest hotelier ever! We were shown to our rooms and breakfast was arranged completely around us. We opted for the continental breakfast ... what people say » which was buffet style but plentiful and varied. On top of this Peter was there to offer us eggs as we liked and bacon. The rooms are quite spacious a - Handy for the main square for dining, the Cloth Hall in the centre of Ypres and an easy walk to the Menin Gate. A warm welcome, nice cooked breakfast at a time to suit the guest not the Hotel. The picture in the dining room of two stone masons working on the lion that sits on top of the Menin Gate took on a whole new significance when Peter told us that the stone masons were his great and great great grandfathers. No reason not to stay here again and probably will

  One of the best small hotels we have stayed in. The owners are exceptional in the way they make guests welcome and the standard of service they provide throughout your stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including arranging a battlefield tour for us. We had a substancial breakfast each morning which set us up for the day. The hotel was just a ten minute walk from the station and about the same to the city centre. Hoping to pay another visit in September.

  Marc and Sonja are a very friendly couple and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay enjoyable. We had a problem with our car during our stay and they helped us tremendously - making phone calls to garages, driving us to collect the car and lending us bikes to use. The B&B is bright, clean and airy and you have the use of a fridge an - Sat nav co-ordinates worked perfect to reach B & B. I had informed of a very early arrival to Sonia, owner and if we could leave our bags and use a loo etc. She was brilliant and as the room was available she had got it ready as we arrived at 09 30 hrs. Mark* her husband spent quite some time with us to outline numerous places of interest concerned with WW1 fields and wrote down a detailed list of proposed sights to view. they were both very welcoming and made us feel easy to move around.   Accomadation was within easy walking distance from Ypres. We received a warm welcome and thought had been given to the 'little touches' to make our stay more comfortable. The room itself was really nice and although I am funny about sleeping in other peoples beds the accomadation was really clean and allowed for a good nights sleep regardless of m... what people say » y weird ways. Our stay ended with a really nice breakfast - good value for money and we would stay there again :) - Roger and Muriel welcomed us warmly into their home. We had a spacious room with a large comfy bed,a balcony and aircon. The cooked breakfast set you up for the day, the continental offered you so much choice. It was so interesting to meet others of various nationalities around the table at breakfast. Don't miss Roger's Battlefields trip..it was worth every penny. Free parking outside and a 5 minute walk to the centre. A little gem!

  We had a fantastic welcome. David was so friendly and extremely accommodating. He provided a complete breakfast and lots of information about the town and activities to to. The room was great.   Our host was fantastic - we arrived earlier than we were supposed to and she invited us to come in - our room (the King Room) was beautiful and looked out onto the garden. The gardens were gorgeous and the owner even let us use her own personal bicycle because the guest bicycles were already in use.   Our hosts Katrien and Steven were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and spoke very good English. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the house was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.
