Kurt and Laurent were fabulous hosts and the apartment is where they lived while the renoveated the rest of their wonderful home, garden and B&B rooms. They offered a great breakfast every morning for only 5 euro with a variety of delicious fresh rolls and pastries, fruit, cereal, juice, yogurt, cheese, etc. The even baked a pizza for us one night as he apt does have mico but not oven. Apt is very comfortalbe, bright, spacious, well outfitted. The front double window/door lets in a lot of l.
all reviews » Such a lovely place with a very friendly owner! We had a large apartment (stayed in 1-bedroom-apartment with no balcony or garden), everything was stylish and new and clean. Breakfast was offered in owner's dining area which was cosy and lovely. Very delicious, too - with fresh strawberries. We'd go there back for sure!. I had a loft room that would have fitted four people. It was bright, airy and comfortable. Being an apartment it also had a small kitchen and table. It had a large deck with tables, chairs and two sun lounges which were great to rest in at the end of the day. The guys running the place were friendly and helpful. - garden room: view really nice and quiet. great balcony. - breakfast (homemade jam and french cookies) - location (close to Kuipke stadium and many restaurant, shops, pubs, clubs nearby) - new hairdryer - owners offer tea, coffee also for an afternoon talk and free of charge. The owner was extremely nice. The apartment was fabolously decorated. We absolutely felt at home. The owner thought of all those things that a traveler might need: salt, cereal for breakfast, kitchen equipment... We found we got a lot for the money we paid. Kurt and Laurent were so welcoming and helpful. the homemade breakfast was awesome. The apartment on the 1st floor was very spacious and had everything you needed. All was good, but there is no hair dryer in the bathroom, and the ceiling in the bath is low. The distance to the city from the B&B was a bit further than expected. Slightly further out of town than we expected. A really good 20 minute walk through a slightly run down, although not threatening area. A little difficult to find, especially late afternoon on a rainy day. Quite expensive. Some tea or coffee making facilities in the room would have been very welcome and even a basic continental breakfast could be included in the price. Around a 20 minute walk to the centre, this isn't the closest of B&B's, but the bus is fast and regular during the day. Would have been nice to have at least soap provided in the bathroom. There was a stange smell all over the room. It would have been helpful if there had been some soap and/or shampoo in the apartment. City center 20 minutes walking. Nothing.
