The overwhelming hospitality and friendliness of the owner Lucienne
(spelling), was second to none. Distance from Charleroi airport makes
this a very easy transition of 20mins, to the comfort of Les Tilleuls. A
great stay if you are in the area for historic reasons, you are
surrounded by centuries of historic sites that have had an influence in
todays world. You will not regret staying at Les Tilleuls and will be

The room was comfortable- excellent very large double bed with two separate mattresses . The shower and toilet en-suite were modern and spotless.
Friendliness of staff, cleanliness, breakfast, rural atmosphere so close to Charleroi Bruxelles Sud Airport.

There was only one chair in the room. The light over my bed was defective and flickered on and off. There was no BBC on the TV. Access was only by climbing two steep flights of stairs.
The restaurant is no longer in use, so it is now bed and breakfast. An excellent bed and breakfast, but arriving with the idea of having an evening meal means having to change your plans.
Position just behind petrol station! And hard to find (gps did not find
the right number of the street).
Location, no public transport (20min walk to a bus stop), need to get a taxi to get there from the airport or the city centre of Charleroi.

A little hard to locate it if you are travelling at night.
Language difficulty with the host. Limited choice at breakfast compared with other b&bs.
