  Superb hotel. Exterior: best looking building on de Panne front. Interior: fantastic, good clean rooms, lovely dining room with sea views, excellent facilities (rooms, pool, dining areas). Friendly and very helpful reception and dining room staff. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.... what people say » - The owners and staff were some of the most friendly, welcoming and helpful people we have ever met. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was lovely and the location was great for a beach visit or as a place to stay within 30 mins of the dunkirk ferry port. A very well ran, child friendly hotel. Will definitely visit again.

  This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. The division between the sleeping and sitting areas make them more like suites than just rooms. Anne-Aymon - From the moment we arrived the lady at reception was the most pleasant person you could wish to meet, even to the parking meter we were helped and offered for our luggage to be taken to the hotel. The booking in was quick and easy, within minutes we were in our room. The room was above what we expected, very clean, comfortable and just everything we wanted was available.   Our second stay here was as good as the first. Natalie and her team were as friendly and helpful as before.   Lovely hotel in a quaint town staff were really friendly & helpful my room was clean & comfy the jacuzzi bath was an added bonus I relaxed with a glass of wine & lost myself for an hour or so I didn't use the hotel facility's so I can't comment but they looked fab I will stay there again & make full use of the hotel 5*'s - Hotel w... what people say » as modern and comfortable.
