  Extremely nice personnel. Nicely decorated rooms, very clean as they are nex from beggining 2013. Great breakfast (eggs and bacon, fresh fruit, excellent croissants and chocolate breads) for 10€ pp, bargain compared to other countries/hotels, although there might have been a reduced price for kids. Within the hotel there is a well furnished souvenir shop an - The hotel was very clean and bright and the staff very friendly. The room was large and very comfortable with ample wardrobes and storage space, kettle, tea and coffee and a mini-fridge. We had informed them we would not be arriving until later than reception was normally open but they arranged for someone to be there for us. The restaurant was open until a reasonable time and had a good menu. In a quite location but only ten minutes by car from De Panne with its shops and fine beaches.

  This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. The division between the sleeping and sitting areas make them more like suites than just rooms. Anne-Aymon - From the moment we arrived the lady at reception was the most pleasant person you could wish to meet, even to the parking meter we were helped and offered for our luggage to be taken to the hotel. The booking in was quick and easy, within minutes we were in our room. The room was above what we expected, very clean, comfortable and just everything we wanted was available.   The hotel was exactly as we thought it would be - excellent value for money, clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom, lots of hanging and cupboard space. - The location of the hotel in De Panne. The hotel was clean as was our bedroom. Breakfast was plenty and lovely. Hotel having a car park was great.
