The neighborhood itself is not great, but I felt quite safe walking around during the day, and a taxi at night from the Grand Place area was only 7 Euros. Plus the hotel is so much cleaner and more comfortable than the older, more expensive places that are closer to the Grand Place that I found the tradeoff well worth it. - Anonymous
