Although I usually like to stay in centrally-located hotels, at the time of booking it was very much evident that there was some big event during the week of my short visit in Brussels and all hotels were charging triple the "normal" rate. La Tour de Bebelle appeared to be the most reasonably-priced B&B albeit not quite centrally-located. However, I have no regrets! The B&B is located in a quiet residential area. Be aware that there a lots of stairs--gorgeous, but some might not like that or have trouble with it. Seemed like most. It is difficult to find a decent hotel in Brussels for a reasonable price. B&B La Tour de Bebelle beats hands down most of 4 star hotels in Brussels I stayed in. The rooms are spacious, clean, tastefully arranged, the owner is very friendly, breakfast is made of quality food and all this for a great price (for Brussels). I have no complaints, only compliments. Just keep in mind that the location is calm and outside city centre per se - but that is a good thing for me. The owners are such gracious and wonderful people. Really accomodating and friendly. The B&B is beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. THe low level of bedside lighting. Impossible for me to read at night. One tip, if you are driving, the street the B&B is, is not allowed to park, but two bloks away, you can park very safe. nothing!. Expensive. choice of food.
