Great location, very clean, helpful staff. Friendly, helpful staff. Everything. Few words about my accommodation over Brussels, I was amazed to realize that the hotel is at walking distance from a lot of things; the main Midi train Station; the city center, and the beautiful Grand Place. The room was new and clean, the buffet breakfast was included thus revitalizing for the morning! Oh was going to forget about the friendly service the receptionist’s offers. You get what you pay for!.
all reviews » Very good breakfast, and excellent staff. Very close to the south train station, (no need for a tram or a taxi!) and only a short walk to the centre of Brussels. Rooms are comfortable and bright and the whole hotel is quite clean. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. It is very handy to town - only a 20min walk max. to the Grand Palace. The staff look after their guests, and the breakfast service was good as well.Close from all the transport and the South station "brussels midi". Fax and Copy service and also Internet wireless was free of charge. Cosy atmosphere, lovely rooms. The location and cleanliness. As long as your expectations are no higher than having somewhere to sleep with easy access to Gare du Midi then it is good value for money. Good value, modern interior, wireless internet, friendly staff, surprisingly spacious, quiet against outside noise, good location (5 min. walk from international train station, 10 min. walk from central square, next to rental bike dispenser). The only other negative thing I wll mention is the bathroom door is a door that slides in and out, this is because there is not enough space. This leaves gaps at eithr side of the door meaning there is not much privacy.I didn't like being in a room that had been used by a smoker - but didn't have an alternative option. Steep stairs + no elevator, breakfast closed 10am sharp (without telling me at checkin), minor room issues (some dirt on the floor in the corners, curtain partially torn), slightly noisy inside (due to staircase without carpets next to the room door, but stopped at night and didn't disturb me sleeping). Extremely narrow staircase is dangerous even without a suitcase being lugged up and down it. No good if you're elderly or have bad knees. I was on the second floor and I could hear every foot step the room above me took. The room are quite small but acceptable by European sizing. The breakfast was a little bland. However, I would still stay here again. Staff on the first night, asked me to pay ahead, the internet was noisy and getting disconnected every time a high speed train pass by. No lift, qand hallyway to second floor too smal less than 1meter in large. It does not seems to be 3* hotel standard. There is no lift. The awkward angled steep stairs which makes it unsuitable for anybody with mobility problems also the Hotel is next to a busy road/junction and overhead railway although the double glazing reduces this, but the constant sirens can irritate a bit. However for the price paid it was OK.lots of very windey uneven stairs. the area of the hotel. breakfast could have been better, the staircase. bruyant, noise. poor breakfast,some noise of road(clacson in the day, police sirens in the night...i think there is a police or fire station near there), the hotel is situated in a bad neighborhood...the night is better not come too late!. Long, narrow stairs and no lift. We were given the top most floor, it'shard to carry heavy luggage to the room. No tea/coffee making facility. yes, bathroom light was broken, window could not be opened.noise from the railtrack :-).

By air:
From the Brussels National Airport:
Many trains run to the many stations in Brussels. Take the train and get off at Gare du Midi and head towards the Avenue Fonsny. Cross the ‘Place’ and you will be opposite Boulevard du Midi. The hotel is approximately 300 metres away. You can also take a taxi which will take 20 minutes.

By car :
From Paris:
- Take the E19 motorway.
- Join the Ring road up to the Brussels (Koekelberg) - Ostende - Mons - Bergen interchange.
- Exit at number 10 towards Brussels/Koekelberg.
- Follow the main road up to the Basilica.
- You are on the Avenue Charles Quint, take the tunnel and take the last exit to Centre/Centrum/Boulevard du Midi.
- Follow the main road up to the first set of traffic lights, turn right and then left.
- You will now be on the Boulevard du Midi, the hotel will be on your right, 100 metres away.

From Amsterdam:
- Take the E19 motorway.
- Head towards Paris-Gent on the Ring Road.
- Once at the Brussels (Koekelberg) – Ostende - Mons/Bergen interchange, take exit number 10 towards Brussels/Koekelberg.
- Then, as above.

From Liège:
- Take the E40 motorway.
- Exit at Centre Bruxelles towards Centre/Rue de la Loi, up to the Schuman roundabout.
- Take the Rue de la Loi and drive up to the main crossing.
- At the crossing, turn left and take the tunnel.
- Take the last exit towards Centre/Centrum/Boulevard du Midi.
- Then, as above.
