The location of Guesthouse is amazing, is right at he heart of Brugge. Also, the rooms are very comfortable with a massive bed and very well thought-of decoration. WiFi reception was pretty good in the rooms but kind of struggled to connect in the breakfast room. The breakfast was pretty standard continental but with very fresh ingredients. The host was very friendly, came over to give us the key quite late in the evening as we run across some really back traffic on the way there. Overall, defi.
all reviews » We have stayed here twice now at christmas time and it has had a really festive feel both times. The rooms are really clean and nicely decorated and also the dining room. The lady that runs the guesthouse is very friendly and the location is great, just behind the square. Would definately stay there again. Excellent location in a quiet but very central street. Friendly helpful staff, charming rooms, it would be my first choice for a return visit to the area. This is a house which has converted three attic rooms into guestrooms. The rooms are prettily decorated and equipped with kingsized beds which are very comfortable with single mattresses which ensure no partner disturbance. The location was perfect for us. The hotel is advertised as having air conditioned accommodation - but this facility did not seem to be available. Anyone with a mobility problem would possibly find it difficult to negotiate two quite narrow flights of stairs to the rooms. Would have liked a small lounge or patio and some access to tourist brochures. Absolutely no complaints. This is a small guesthouse which just offers guestroooms. There is no lounge or use of the breakfast room during the day for refreshments. The air con needs to be serviced as it was not working to it capacity. Nothing everything was perfect. Absolutely nothing. I would have preferred bar soap and a wash cloth to liquid soap for my bath. Room No 1 was a little on the small side as was the bathroom. No refrigerator in the room (no problem in winter) No toilet on the ground floor. No a/c and the guest rooms are on the third floor with no lift. The stairs are old narrow steps.
