In addition to the great location, the hotel was very quaint and the rooms were beautifully decorated! We fed ducks from our window that opened out onto the canal each morning of our stay. Breakfast was lovely with a good amount of choices. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was charming and the hotel was very quaint, the character of the hotel and the location added to the ambience. Pefect, wouldn't change a thing. All of the staff were extremely welcoming, will certainly recommed and return again.

Having booked at about 11pm the night before arrival (because of another hotel letting us down I wasn't entirely sure what to expect althoguh the reviews had been good. We were really pleased and really liked the hotel. We only stayed for one night so didn't really bother us to much but if you were staying longer it could perhaps be a major issue. We were in a room close to reception and could hear the banging of doors from our neighbours. But managable............Steep stairs. poor shower facilities. The walls are a little thin; could sometimes hear your neighbor. lack of accessible rooms i.e. no lift. My sister had to pay the same price for staying on her own in a room and this was not what we expected. The only negative was that it is not trivial to drive to the hotel because of the many one way streets in Brugge....so take a good city map and a passenger who can navigate if you drive.the double bed consisted of two single beds pushed together and we kept falling down the middle where they joined. No tea or coffee making facilities in room.Bed covers were dirty. Soundproofing was insufficient to prevent being woken by night time conversation in another room.
