Wonderful location with the kindest host one could every imagine and spectacular breakfast. We had the opportunity to meet many young couples from all over the world. Emiel treated us all as if we were family. She even took us to the train station when we were leaving. There is a kitchen area where you can prepare simple meals if this appeals to you and lovely sitting area and outside deck.
all reviews » As the other people stated, the woman running this hotel makes it worth visiting. She is extremely helpful, but also doesn't waste your time with too much small talk. The hotel is very clean and modern. The hotel owner explained that 2 buldings burned down a few years ago, and she built this bread and breakfast on the site of the destroyed buildings. You won't find anything else so new.Our greeting was wonderful! The proprietor went out of her way to assist us with parking, directions, etc and was so welcoming. The building is a wonderful new-build with serious style. The rooms were great and we had a small terrace. The breakfast was abundant and fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bruges. Friendly and kind people, nice and clean room, excelent service and wonderful breakfast. Really interesting building in the middle of old buildings. Close to the center (10 min) and a very nice walk.The owners were wonderful and friendly, location was perfect, breakfast was great! Although wireless was available, I haven't seen if there was any computer available for internet access. If there is no computer, it would be nice to have one available for the guests.Our toilet was not en suite (though the bathroom was). Although it wasexclusively ours it was along a corridor and outside the Common Rom /Breakfast Room requiring you to be dressed before using it!. A nice BandB, but a bit over-priced. Also, use the lift as those front stairs are lethal!.

On the top floor is a terrace and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. This room can be accessed by elevator and is used by everyone. It is also able to use this room as a party room if all three rooms are booked by one group. For example to celebrate a birthday.

Guests are kindly requested to note that free public parking is available on the street around the hotel. Please note that from the 16th of February on wards, paid parking applies in the city centre from 09:00 - 20:00. The accommodation will assist guests in finding the best and most affordable parking option.

- Lenteblomke - double room.
- Meezennestje - double room.
- 't Schrijverke - twin, double or connecting room for 3 people.

Travelling information

By Bus:
- From the station take either bus numbers 4, 14, 43 or 84 and ask the driver to point out for you the Gouden Handrei, where you need to get off.
- Once you get off, you must cross the bridge and continue into the street Camersstraat; the hotel is located at number 41.

By Car:
- Leave the R30 motorway of Bruges through the Kruispoort gate to take Langestraat, for only 200 meters.
- Turn right into Peperstraat and after another 340 meters turn right again, via Kantwerksterplein into Jerusalem Street.
- After 260 meters turn right again to reach the home awaiting you at Carmersstraat number 41.
